Yes. It is quite possible you could squeak by one more week!  :-*

How'd Linfield do today?

I heard they didn't miss a single tackle or block the entire day...
Not a single turnover either - error perfect game.  ;)

Congrats to the Johnnies,

The earned the win.  They didn't turn it over and we did which lead to the final margin of victory.

KR, and TDT,

Nice to meet both of you.  Congrats on the win.  It was a hard fought game.  Hope we can have a rematch soon!  Good Luck at Whitworth!

Word from KR is that it's cool and a bit breezy in Pella.  Small crew tailgating right now, with JR threatening to put the Paris on the stereo.

KR is 4 Hamm's into it now.

The Hamm's were flowing and the burgers were hot. Great day for tailgating and football!

Paris never made the appearance... thank God!

Duff-did you talk TDT today? Wonder if he is spilling today like last week. ;D

TDT didn't come up for this game did he? The central fans would be in for an earful if he did!

TDT did come and Central fans were in fact in for an earfull, as was anyone else who would listen :)

Did they just throw to Kofoed?  That doesn't sound smart!

It was a great play and pass and catch. We weren't sure about the play call that early in the game for just an 11 yard pick-up, but all's well that ends well!

Stupid-take the points

The wind was ridiculous, strong and swirling. I wouldn't have attemped any FG longer than a PAT if the game didn't depend on it.

Ted Ginn Jr. and Troy Smith lead the Buckeyes to victory today on Judgement day!! 42-31

That seems like an awful lot of points!

If you had only known it would be 35-24 in the 3rd quarter!

Great meeting your too, DF2004, and your son!

Your other son played a solid game, something tells me that he hasn't faced that much pressure all season!

Great game by the Johnnies, nothing flashy, just solid play on both sides of the ball. We would have won by 6 more if we had a kicker we could count on.

The last TD by Central was a bunch of consecutive dump passes against a prevent defense, the game wasn't as close as the 21-13 final score made it seem.

Great to meet DF2004 and DF1, as well as to see DustySJU, CAC Prez TDT, JR, 105, Wicker, Raiderguy and all the rest again! Thanks for the book Raiderguy!

Hard to argue with a day when you can watch a Johnnie playoff game and come home for the majority of an OSU-Michigan game with both un-defeated and #1 and #2 in the nation!

If the Johnnies can play like they did today the rest of the playoffs, they have a lot of football left to play, they looked like the Johnnie Playoff teams of old. Sorry to see Bethel kept their playoff tradition going as well. Maybe the royals can get a Pool C bid next year!

KR, Pool C seems to be the way to go..........  talked to the team after the game, and they said it was the most difficult and Physical  game of the year. But thats the way it is supposed to be when your season is on the line.

BUdefense

Congrats to St. Johns, kick some a$$ for the conference the rest of the way.

BU, hell of a run. I'm damn proud of those guys for all they've endured the past four years, to go out like they did.

First things first, congrats to the victors from Collegeville and UWLAX.

My hat's off to this class of Bethel seniors on a career to be proud of. Sad for you that it's over, but a warm welcome to the "HasBeen" club.

BU certainly did enough to win this tilt, but the outcome was decided by errors on a couple critical plays. Great run this year, and the playoff win is coming soon.

As much as it pains me, my blue shirt turns red this week. Go Johnnies!

Duffman,

Yes he is a junior as is the running back and most of the team.  I think there is about 8 seniors out of 24 positions

MR,
Since BU season is over, does that mean no more Chuck Norris facts?
