Then, Favre takes a wicked hit and leaves the game with his left arm hurt.

For some reason, they then put him in a cart and drive him off to the lockeroom.

Alright, just took an hour last night to get caught up on the reading....Here is my take:

1.  USC will win out and play THE Ohio State University for the national title.  Also cool that OSU has a perfect 1.0 in the BCS rankings.  HOWEVER, all of this is really meaningless as most of our attention come bowl time will be on the Mighty Gophers as they battle the 7th place team from the PAC-10 in the Insight Bowl!   

2.  Im suprised it took a whole day for someone from Bethel to come out and complain and make excuses for the loss.  Be like the rest of the Bethel fans, accept a loss for what it is and move on.

3.  In my opinion, SJU did not play a very complete game on Saturday.  In the playoffs, you need to finish EVERY DRIVE in the Red Zone.  They don't finish drives this week, season over.

4.  No way in He$$ that St. Olaf will be the preseason conference pick, by anyone exepct Meidt that is....maybe they have 9-1 talent, but that ussually translates into a 7-3 team in Northfield.

5.  Brandon Diop is the most underused weapon in the Johnnie Arsenal.  I would however would have liked to see the "Double Reverse Pass to the QB used a little later in  the game, possible more effectively than for a 14 yard gain.
