D O.C.

Legend has it that Johnny G has been out to Whitworth and done his thing already. October 25, 1975, knocked out a big 'ol 7-3 win.

31 and snow didn't sound right for Spokane in the fall so I looked it up.  Holy wow.  Percipitation 9 of the next 10 days?  People ask me how I can live through Minnesota winters, but they are nothing compared to rain every...  single...  day.  How do you live with that?!?!?

I think it rains more over on this side of the Cascades. The health center here on campus has a room with one of those lamps that simulates sunshine. I guess the room is frequented by our students from Hawaii and California. ;D Rain everyday? You just get use to it. I do get inordinately excited when I see bits of blue sky! ;D

Congrats to St. John's for the big win down in Pella this past weekend.  Best of luck throughout the playoffs!

Pretty much sums up my life...

A man owned a small ranch.  The Department of Labor claimed he was
not paying his help proper wages, and sent an agent out to interview him.

"I need a list of your employees and how much you pay them," demanded the DOL agent.
"Well," replied the rancher, "There's my ranch hand who's been with me for 3 years.  I pay him $600 a week, plus free room and board.
The cook has been here for 18 months, and I pay her $500 per week,
plus free room and board.  Then there's the half-wit.  He works about 18 hours every day and does about 90% of all the work around here.
He makes $10 per week, and I buy him a bottle of bourbon every  Saturday night."

"That's the guy, I want to talk to the half-wit," says the agent.
"That would be me," replied the rancher.

With that, I'm done.  I'm going to be rooting for SJU through the playoffs, why, cause they are good!!
I'm also going to be rooting for Lakeville South, which has one of the best running backs in the state of MN.  Where he goes is up to him.  In my opinion, he will be at BU!  He loved his visit with John and his team.  He just seems to be a better fit for BU.  But then again, these last few weeks have brought a whole new bunch of letters his way.  Who knows, only time will tell.  God Bless and again, just an old man without a wife who has allowed this site to help ease the pain.  For those that know what I'm refering too, thanks for your support, you've been kind and have helped along the way.  Bye

I suggest visiting the schools these other letters are from before you commit to BU fully. Dont get me wrong, we all know who I support, but dont be swayed by the first visit you take. I'm sure coach J cried during your grandkid's visit and talked about how much he loved his guys, yada yada yada, but look around before you dive in headfirst to this place.

It is usually very dry and cold this time of year in Spokane.  It has a very different climate than Seattle.

Also, when it comes to Kirby being nominated for the Gags trophy, I dont think there is a chance he gets it. If Sam Lacy cant get the award with all he did in 2003, there is no way Kirby gets it. Congrats on the nomination though.

But aren't things just more infinitely more exciting in here when Scrubby posts something in defense of himself or that team from Arden Hills?

No.
That's like saying it's more exciting to be a cop when the streets are full of drunken lunatics ranting about the end of the world coming while swinging machetes.

Are you kidding me, drunken lunatics with machetes, and I get to fight em?  How is that not exciting?  You can stick to your occassional binge drinking and ogling of girls on the internet, i've got to go beat down some lunatics wielding machetes to stop the world from coming to an end.

*edit:  watch out, ao now has karma powers.

ROR, thanks for proclaiming that I am "THE MAN!" I don't know if I deserve the honor or not. I will leave it up to all my friends from Bethel. ;)

Wow, AO having karma powers and the world coming to an end in the same post. Sounds about right!! ;) ;D

BU defense, Maybe Kirby will have a better chance than Sam since he doesn't have Blake Elliott in the field with him.

I would guess that a lot of MIAC posters will be rooting for him. DuffMan can probably comment better on defensemen not getting proper respect.

Good Luck to the Johnnies on Saturday. If it weren't for this small holiday coming up and relatives in the Buckeye state I would be looking at my own boarding pass.

Damn I guess I will have to "settle" for a side trip to see the Purple.

But next week in Wisconsin, you can count me in.

If somebody going out west wants to shoot me their phone # I'll give live updates from the North and look forward to the same from the west.  You can send it to my email address on the site here.

Go Raiders and Johnnies.
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!
