Good Luck with the Warhawks.  I think they are more beatable than last year.

With all due respect, what factors make you believe Whitewater is more beatable this year compared to last year???  Or are you just trying to be nice to the Johnnies???  Just curious.

Good win for the Johnnies today!  Looks like the D is stepping it up!  Good Luck vs. WW this weekend!

The Montana Grizzly game was absolutely awesome!  I think the Louisiana boys had some trouble with the temp and snow!  I think it was in the teens all game long.  The Griz dominated all game long, it was fun to watch!

Even MT State won today over Fuhrman.  However, Carroll College lost 14-7 to St. Xavier ending their season and a chance at a 5th consecutive Nat'l title!

I was in attendance at the Montana State Game. Very good day for the Cats who also won in a dominating performance. The game was never close.

Congrats to the Johnnies as well.

Dutchfan - That's kind of a "Be careful what you wish for" kind of thing.

Good point, hopefully the Johnnie fans will take this to heart, too, this week when discussing how beatable Whitewater is.

Congrats, SJU. Sounds like you made the adjustments at halftime and took control in the 2nd half against the Pirates. Regarding UW-Whitewater, I remember you guys defeating MUC in '03 when you were big time underdogs so anything can happen next week.....

cobbernation and tribute, that's some pretty sweet seeding, isn't it? Rather than force teams from the same conference/geography to play each other right away, they actually try to split up some of the teams. What a concept. If Montana and MSU continue to win, they won't have to play each other until the championship. They have a team from Louisiana and a team from South Carolina travel to Montana in the first round in attempts to even things out a bit in the regions and to keep some conference rivals from meeting up in the 1st or 2nd rounds.

A packed student section behind an end zone cheering on guys they will actually see in class on Monday is almost as cool as The Streak.

Many of the regular posters made the trip out West and are probably just getting finished at the Spokane mall. For other regulars like 57Johnnie, it's past their bedtime ;)

I will be there to cheer the Johnnies on next week at the Perk. As was mentioned previously, the Johnnies have overcome the odds before. We are all aware that UWW is a formidible opponent, both from the game last year, and their domination this year. I remember, though, getting ready to watch the '01 and '03 Stagg Bowls, and just hoping that the Johnnies wouldn't embarass themselves against the juggernaut that is Mt Union. Remeber they had won by about 60 points in both semi-finals, and had a record 55 wins and 3 straight Nat'l Championships in '03. We all know what happened in those games. I never again will count out that which is "Johnnie Magic." Last year they gave a good team too many opportunities, and gave the ball up too many times. If they play their game, it will be a close one.

So who knew that the St. John's Radio Network stretched to southern MN? I was at my grandparents' in Albert Lea for the holiday and found the game on KOWZ AM out of Mankato/Blooming Prairie. Cool!

Anyway, it sounded like a great game today for the Johnnies. The love affair with the option still frustrates me, but it appeared to be successful this Saturday. That's a good thing. Also, congrats to the Pirates. Great season!

Now, about this next game...I'm pretty sure TC and I will be heading east this year. I'm still trying to forget the last road trip to WW. Go Red!
Nice day, huh?

Congrats Johnnies for an impressive win today at the Pine.

Your win today was generated in the locker room at halftime. Whatever was said was executed very well by your players.

Looking forward to seeing you next year in the playoffs, as defending champions, except in McMinnville. CATS are on a prowl.

LOL!! That is prcieless, SUM....I was hoping the game would embarrass both teams, helping my Gators make the title game. See you at the SJU-SCSU tilt I assume?
