Tmert, I will only gloat once!

Go Trojans!

BTW

LOL!! That is prcieless, SUM....I was hoping the game would embarrass both teams, helping my Gators make the title game. See you at the SJU-SCSU tilt I assume?

MM, I will be there! I am just getting the grooves in the highway warmed up, 3 trips to C-ville in the next 10 days. ;)

Please, allow me to get the bull$hit started.......

Three Football FANS were on their way to a game when one noticed a foot sticking out of the bushes by the side of the road. They stopped and discovered a nude female dead drunk.

Out of respect and propriety, the LaCrosse fan took off his cap and placed it over her right breast.

The Whitewater fan took off his cap and placed it over her left breast.

Following their lead, but with some grumbling, the Johnnie fan took off his cap and placed it over her crotch.

The police were called and when the officer arrived, he conducted his inspection.

First, he lifted up the LaCrosse cap, replaced it, and wrote down some notes.

Next, he lifted the Whitewater cap, replaced it, and wrote down some more notes.

The officer then lifted the Johnnie cap, replaced it, then lifted it again, replaced it, lifted it a third time, and replaced it one last time.

The Johnnie fan was getting upset and finally asked, "What are you, a pervert or something? Why do you keep lifting and looking, lifting and looking?"

"Well," said the officer. "I am simply surprised. Normally when I look under an Johnnie hat, I find an ass hole."

LaCrosse proved today that you can have a couple of turnovers and still stay in the game to the end with UWW.  By all rights, UWL should have won that game...their execution down the stretch failed them.

Nice to see you talking all reasonable and such in the MIAC PP, unlike your performance in the NWC where according to you UWW has already beaten the Johnnies.  Seems like the only thing left to do is let the ground's keeper know to turn off the scoreboard.

Anyway, it's good to call 'em out early Bozo (hat tip to chewey on the great nickname) and let us know who the target is.

BTW - when trolling for bandwagoneers, 509 might be the last of your targets.

Not going to play your game, OzJohnny93.  You want to go name calling, that's your business.

It's true, LaCrosse could have won that game if they had only executed down the stretch. It is also true, not only do I feel UWW beats SJU again with or without the turnovers that seem to be a pre-occupation with every Johnnie fan/roadside pick-up, but I have always felt LaX is the second best team in the West Region (and I made that comment weeks ago on the WIAC PP) and the one team that would give WW the strongest test prior to a potential rematch with MUC, not just because they are WW's chief rival and know them so well, but because of their talent level. That's not to say the Johnnies don't have talent, they do, but I think the Eagles are stronger.

Finally, concerning your reference to 509, you obviously have no idea what sarcasm is. I would never go trolling for, as you call it bandwagoneers, in such infertile waters as the NMC PP or this one for that matter.  Strickly catch and release.

Are you basing that on the zero times that you've seen SJU play?

Duffman-- This work at 6pm on Saturday stuff sucks. Can't you use that SJU education to figure a way out of it?

Every SJU fan knows UWW is talented and has more playmakers than SJU. SJU is just happy to get to play in the region finals and with some incredible luck, perhaps SJU can win. Win or lose, I am actually looking forward to seeing Beaver and company play. And, does it really matter who the second best team is?? Don't think so.

It's not "work" but a holiday party.  Sorry :'(

Johnnie Red

It is always soooo nice to get home around 3:30 a.m. from a football game! Great trip to Spokane and Whitworth. Bennie, thanks for the adult beverages and cookies. It was great to see you again.

Rather unique to see the streaker zoom down the track behind the Pirates' bench right before the opening kickoff. Last time I saw that was a few years ago at St. Thomas.

The countdown begins for the Stiftungsfestivities next Saturday at Whitewater. We will be starting at 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot outside the stadium. Same location as last year. Whitewater fans are cordially invited to join us. Bring a culinary delight to share and the adult beverage of your choice. If for some reason the jury is still out on my homicide trial (they should get the case this Wednesday), I will hopefully be able to make arrangements for someone to get the grills and the Stiftungsfest burger to the tailgate.

So let me get this right LAX just scratches by against Bethel, playing without the MIAC's best player and playing the final 3 quarters without two or three of their top defenders, and they are the second best team in the West you cannot be serious!  The top two teams in the West are the teams playing for the west title LAX stayed in the game this last week against UW-WW just as St. Thomas is often able to play with St. John's with an inferior team.  The teams know each other so well and the intense rivalry.

JR-TDT says we are starting at 8:00, just like last year, remember? :) In any event, we will be there early to secure the spot. Hope you get done by Thursday night and are on the road Friday.

Johnnie Red

sju56321, I do remember last year and the fact that we did not have all that many people there at 8:00 a.m. I'll hopefully be there between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

Maybe you should change some things from last year as that didn't work too well .  lol

I love it when fans call in the victory before the game a la MUC and Linfield 2002.  Brice and I will be in WW in full force to hold them to their smack if SJU wins.  UWW is a great team but I would not automatically predict a win.  One guy said that it's awfully tough to be Gagliardi twice and I believe that.  If you ask me, UWW was lucky to get by Linfield last year.

The Whitworth fans were very hospitable and they represented the NWC well, in my opinion.  Thanks to them for the great time.   I was zombified after 10 minutes in that mall but at least I was able to have a cinnabon even though I didn't need it.
