SJU +9.5 according to ESQ. So, the home team get 3 points for being at home-thus ESQ has SJU as less than a touchdown dog-very interesting.

Good win for the Johnnies today!  Looks like the D is stepping it up!  Good Luck vs. WW this weekend!

The Montana Grizzly game was absolutely awesome!  I think the Louisiana boys had some trouble with the temp and snow!  I think it was in the teens all game long.  The Griz dominated all game long, it was fun to watch!

Even MT State won today over Fuhrman.  However, Carroll College lost 14-7 to St. Xavier ending their season and a chance at a 5th consecutive Nat'l title!

hey cobbernation....looks like the Griz were on top of their game today...i listened to the Bobcat game....they had a surprisingly easy time with Furman today.... i will try to go to the Appy State game in Boone NC since i live about 4 hrs north in Charleston, WV....

go Johnnies....go Bobcats...

johnnie..

If you go to the App St. game this sat.  Definately let me know how good they really are.  I know they are the defending champs, but can they be beat?  Hopefully the Griz will get a chance at them in TN for the championship!

Cobbernation....

will give you my assessment if i go to the appy game...they are supposedly really good

...by the way where were you huning in montana?

we use go up by lewistown, and the booming metroplis of Two Dot, Montana....
for deer and antelope hunting....i still remember the outdoor 'jail' at the end of main street in two dot...now that was a place for real men to dry out after a heavy nite of drinking....

johnnie....

I was in the same area, but just east of Judith Gap in the Snowy's Mtn. Range.  No elk to be seen, but deer all over the place!  I even saw a gray wolf running around the mountains.  Thought about shooting it and getting it stuffed to sell on the black market, but didn't!

Well, knowing that Johnnies tend to pick with their hearts and not with their heads, there was an added bonus as well for UWW...

Bennie,

Why do you live in Oregon? It doesn't seem that you like it very much, and it sounds as if you miss SJU a lot.

I don't remember ever saying that I didn't like living in Oregon... :-\ Just because I miss getting to see SJU football and the sun for nine months of the year doesn't mean that I don't love the ocean and my friends out here (there are of course more things that I like/love, but for the sake of brevity, I will leave it there)...

I am a big Calgary Flame fan, but I'm not moving to Calgary just to go to all their home games (I also like the Canucks and would be willing to move there, though)! ;)

Here is a pic of the whitetail I shot last week!

Willy Wonka

Wonka and Frank-you guys making the trip to UWW? Better than playing XBox or watching Florida.

Wonka has a work party where he and Dinny (some Cobbers may recognize him better as Jim Johnson) will be sporting redic Christmas sweaters. There is then a housewarming party where basketball warm-ups are the outfit de jour in the cities. I don't think I'll be fitting in a 6 hour drive that day.

Frank has been at home doing nothing for the last few weeks. His lack of posting suggests strongly that XBox 360 has melted his brain. Mongo is currently tied down with a job that apparently requires weekend work...or else that's his excuse to hang out with the new lady friend.

In summation, the GAC contingent will not likely be represented and TMerts is a pansy.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

What drew you to Oregon, Bennie?

I was offered a job and decided why not move?  You have got to take advantage of the opportunities to change things up when you get them! ;) ;D

Bennie,

Had you been to Oregon before you applied for a job out here? You said you miss the sun. Is the climate in Minnesota a lot better?
