Can you say "guilty of first degree, premeditated murder?!!" Thank God this case is over. Life in prison without parole. A lot to look forward for 21 year old Grant Everson.

I will be in Janesville tomorrow night and at the stadium at Whitewater for the Stiftungsfestivities bright and early Saturday morning.

GO JOHNNIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Top job.  Lock 'em up.

Don't know if anyone's been following the travails of the Pioneer Press. They had 21 senior people in the newsroom take buyouts, including sports guys Jim Wells and Mike Fermoyle, two veteran preps guys. All told, the paper's losing more than 500 years of experience. As an old newspaper guy, it's tough to see one of the state's big papers get gutted like that.

Of course, I'm sure clem Haskins wishes these cuts would have been made seven years ago. Gangelhoffgate might have never been uncovered. And Clem wouldn't have had to resign. And Monson wouldn't have had to leave Gonzaga. and on and on.

Last time the Johnnies played on December 2 (2000 against Central) they won. I am looking for a similar birthday present this year! ;D ;)

No doubt.

The gophers will probably go after Clem Haskins to finish the season as head coach.

Hell, his motto for the rest of the year should be "If you're not cheating, you're not trying!"

What's the issue?  Do your guys drop the ball in the cold weather?

Lucky for you the bad weather is on Friday.  Forecast for Saturday remains at Partly cloudy skies. High 33F. Winds WSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Better collect all the hair dryers of the men's dorms so that you can melt the snow on the field.

I know now I missed the boat. I used to think I should have been a meteorologist,I mean where else can you get your job right 1/4 of the time and still keep your six figure income. Now I know I should have been a coach for the Gophers, where you can gut a program for nearly 7 years, then resign & walk away with $1.1 million :o

Great job Johnnie Red, I'll buy you a burger & a beer on Saturday ;)
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!
