Johnnie Red

UWPSUPERFAN77, congrats to Point on beating the Johnnies. Hope Point goes all the way. Speaking of Point beer, it is excellent, especially the Bock. I have been to the brewery and would recommend it to anyone.

Great day at the state high school wrestling tournament yesterday. Nice to see Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City come away with their first state title ever.

Congrats to Auggie Tech on yet another Division III wrestling championship. Even more special is the career record of Marcus LeVesseur for the Auggies.

coco

JR,
Was the wrestling season completed? I thought they suspended it early because so many of the guys had herpes. Was it able to be finished later?
Two words:  THE STREAK

Willy Wonka

coco - It was only suspended 8 days and that was something like 3 weeks now.

I trust TDT will have the inside scoop of Johan's apparent impending contract dispute...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Fins, Bandwagon is back in the Geerodge. I filled with gas and added some stabil to the tank. She's just waiting for football season now! Thanks for letting us roundballers borrow her. It was a fun ride while it lasted! Remember this...the Johnnies were 1-1 in the playoffs the Tommies were   0-1! ;D sometimes it's the moral victories that count.
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun

Touchdown Tommy

Sum: It never fails.  The Tommies really do SUCK.  BTW: I've heard a nasty rumor that you have a daughter who attends/attended USTD.  Can you please confirm or deny this ASAP???

Wonka: I can vouch for his horsesh!t performance today.  Santana loaded the bases in the 1st with 3 BBs and then wriggled out of the jam.  Bo Sox also had a few solid hits.  No worries at this point (1st start of Spring Training).  The contract talk is good.  Lites a fire under T. Ryan and hopefully will get him locked up sooner rather than later.

ATTN: Scott Baker Fan Club

He is bad.  Very very bad.  Unless you are the NY Yankees.

RUMOR has it that Touchdown Tommy made multiple TV appearances during the Twins Broadcast this afternoon.  Hope my ugly mug didn't hurt ratings...

Chasing MILFs since '82...

Kilted Rat

Hopefully this will mean the Twins will finally hold onto a great player!

Imagine the rotation when Liriano comes back, Garza hits his prime, Santana as the veteran ace and Bonser/ anyone else but Silva fills in! Add that to Nathan closing, Juan "Nobody wants to be in my pants" Rincon and the young guys Crain, Neshek, and Perkins and you're looking at pontentially the best pitching staff start to finish in baseball.

Rumor has it this Mauer guy and his buddy Morneau are pretty decent with bats too.

The future is looking bright Twins fans... now if we could just buy the damn land to build the damn stadium!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

TDT, I cannot tell a lie, I do have a daughter that has gone over to the dark side! :(

Less than two weeks before St. Patty's day, but before we get into the Irish jokes, a little respect for the Wegian population.

A Norwegian decides to travel across Canada to see the Pacific Ocean

When he gets to Nanaimo, he likes the place so much that he decides to stay. But first he must find a job!!!!

He walks into the MacMillian-Bloedel office and fills out an application as an experienced logger.  It's his lucky day!!!  They just happen to be looking for someone.

But first, the bush foreman takes him for a ride into the bush in the company pickup truck to see how much he knows.

The foreman stops the truck on the side of the road and points at a tree. "See that tree over there? I want you to tell me what species it is and how many board feet of lumber it contains.

The Norwegian promptly answers, "Dat dere's a Sitka spruce, eh?  And she got 383 board feet of lumber in 'er."

The foreman is impressed!!!

He puts the truck in motion and stops about a mile down the road. He points at another tree through the passenger window and asks the same question.  This time, it's a bigger tree of a different class.

"Lord tunderin'!! Dat's yer Douglas fir and she got 690 board feet" says the Norwegian.

Now the foreman is really impressed.  The Norwegian has answered quickly and got the answers right without using a calculator!!!!

One more test.

They drive a little further down the road, and the foreman stops again.  This time, he points across the road through his driver side window and says, "And what about that one?"

Before the foreman finishes pointing, the Norwegian says, "A yeller cedar, 242 board feet at most."

The foreman spins the truck around and heads back to the office a little ticked off because he thinks the Norwegian is smarter than he.

As they near the office, the foreman stops the truck and asks the Norwegian to step outside. He hands him a piece of chalk and tells him, "See that tree over there? I want you to mark an x on the front of that tree!

The foreman thinks to himself, "Idiot!! How would he know which is the front of the tree?"

when the Norwegian reaches the tree, he goes around it in a circle while looking at the ground.  He then reaches up and places a white x on the trunk.

He walks back to the foreman and hands him the chalk.

"Dat's da front a' dat tree fer sure." the Norwegian states.

The foreman laughs to himself and asks sarcastically, "How in the hell do you know that's the front of the tree?"

the Norwegian looks down at his feet, while rubbing the toe of his left boot cleaning it in the gravel and replies, "cuz somebody took a crap behind it, eh?"

He got the job and is now the foreman!!!!!

That's okay, Sum - so long as she's on full scholarship and you're not actually paying to support the Evil Empire, you get a pass with me. ;D

But ya know, ribbing aside, it raises an intersting question - does anyone have any place that they would, not pay for their kid to attend?  (Or not sign the LOI if they were an athlete?)

Hey, it was a good season. Anytime a bandwagon can roll into the playoffs, that's a good run.
Less than 6 months 'til the football opener.

My dream game of Bennie/Devils did not materialize.  :'(

Bennies lose first round in double OT.

Devils score 86 points and lose.  :P

Really really screwed up my plans for Saturday night.  :(

My dad said I could go anywhere but Augsburg (he was a wrestler).

Talk to me when I have kids.  They'll probably be destined for SJU (and John will probably still be coaching);D.

Couldn't have nailed my tri-fecta any better sju56321.

If you want to go to a game at the Orange Bowl or the Coliseum you better be packing heat if you wander off a couple blocks.  :P

Michigan, well nothing need be said.  ;)
