For those looking for rainbows this coming St. Patty's Day, may you all find this one.  (Hmmm ... I've tried enlarging the picture so you can see the sign on the establshment, but it doesn't seem to work.  The sign says "Beer Store.")  See http://images.blogstream.com/i/userImages/34/34145_10887.jpg

Touchdown Tommy

I know the Godfather will be most appreciative of this little GEM that came to TDT via email today...

There are three religious truths:
Jews do not recognize Jesus as the Messiah.
Protestants do not recognize the Pope as the Leader of the Christian Faith.
Baptists do not recognize each other in the liquor store or at Hooters.

Fins whatever you want you get.  You are the one who supplies me with those delicious Kool-Aids at all my Stiftungsfestivities appearances....

Chasing MILFs since '82...

Just because you guys went private, and overpaid, or paid to get in, does not make an education! God Bless!

Didn't overpay, you get what you paid for. You apparently got in for free. It's a shame the taxpayers of Wisconsin had some of their tax dollars apparently wasted on you.

Oh, almost forgot, God Bless! That makes everything I say ok, right? ::)

I had to log in just to throw you some +K for that! ;)

Bennie: I know you are just rolling home from work, but tune into the hockey game.  Rangers vs. Islanders from The Garden in HD on the Versus network.

That was quite the game. Nice goaltending from the eye candy! ;) ;D

Years ago I was talking to the Dean of Student's at Bethany Lutheran College and he was explaining how any student caught at the strip club downtown Mankato would be expelled. I so wanted to ask exactly how this was monitored! :D

Fins that would be St. Urho's Day! Patron saint of Finland! I'm shocked you haven't taken all of the little Fins to Sebeka to see the Statue of St. Urho! :D

Since St. Urho seems to be the patron saint of Finnish vineyard workers and grasshopper management, he fits in nicely with a drinking trip to Florida.  8)

The only thing I know about Finnlanders is all the little taverns in northern Minnesota have Finnlander jokes all over the place. And I have seen the statue.
I don't recall ever having a purple beer though, but maybe I can get some grape vodka and drop it in my beer for an.... Urho bomb?

That's a good wingman!  :)

Bennie, you must be referring to Mettler's in beautiful downtown Mankato. It has been so long since I was in that fine establishment. Always nice to bring up that place when talking to graduates of Minnesota State Mankato. Comparable to mentioning Dundas when talking to grads of St. Olaf and Carleton.

Rumors are starting to float that Duffman will be applying for the head wrestling coaching position at Auggie Tech. ;)

She is in the kitchen preparing to boil eggs for breakfast.

He walks in. She turns and says, "You've got to make love to me --
this very moment."

His eyes light up and he thinks, "This is my lucky day."

Not wanting to lose the moment, he embraces her and then gives it his
all on the kitchen table.

Afterwards she says, "Thanks," and returns to the stove.

More than a little puzzled, he asks, "What was that all about?"

"The egg timer's broken," she says.

Edit: PI says he posted this here last week, so if you've seen it before, never mind.  :-[

Tmert, Thanks for the back up on St. Urho. I stand corrected the statue is in Menahga, not Sebeka. Constantly getting those two lovely little towns mixed up on beautiful Highway 71!

sumander, you threw me with the Sebeka reference.

I was thinking I had seen this guy before.

That's a big damn grasshopper!  :D

Hey BDB, My bad. Didn't mean to drag a red herring there!

Did anyone catch the release from the MIAC after the winter sports seasons the JOHNNIES lead the All Sports competition.

Link of the Day

oAs.

+k for that link. It's obviously a different Max than we know, based upon this description on the site:

"...a large, beaming man in tuxedo pants, white shirt and suspenders. An unknotted bowtie hung casually around his collar. He stood with one foot proudly on the running board of a classic Studebaker convertible, all big creamy curves and chrome. The subject of the picture was muscular and thick-necked, with a mischievous gleam in his eye. He radiated generosity and confidence. He wore a dark thick mustache and a Derby hat set at a jaunty angle."

Menu looks good, though.
