Is this enough to take GAC to the next level?

No.

Does "the next level" mean on par with UST?

From an e-mail my Uncle sent me today:

Subject: Taxes
Read to the end.

Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he's fed.

Tax his tractor,
Tax his mule,
Teach him taxes
Are the rule.
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.

Tax his ties,
Tax his shirt,
Tax his work,
Tax his dirt.

Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.
Tax his cigars,
Tax his beers,
If he cries, then
Tax his tears.

Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass

Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won't be done
Till he has no dough.

When he screams and hollers,
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he's laid.
Put these words
upon his tomb,
"Taxes drove me to my doom..."

When he's gone,
Do not relax,
Its time to apply
The inheritance tax.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.

What the hell happened? Can you spell "politicians!"

And I still have to "press 1" for English.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

A hundred years ago the average life expectancy for men was 46 years. I'm OK with progress.

Also OK with highways and paved roads in general -- pretty sure we didn't have to build or maintain those 100 years ago either.

BTW, telephone taxes helped pay for the Spanish-American War, you know, in 1898.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

KR I don't see the Alternative Minimum Tax or the BS Capital Gains tax (federally 17% I believe)...

May want to "practice" in one of the handful of states without INCOME tax...

BDB can't be happy about this...

Au contraire, TDT.

People want to be able to sample beers here in Wiscy is all good to me.

In fact, at our main Liquor store we do that already on a regular basis because of the type of license we have. It works.

BDB, Serve sample brats with that beer and I am moving to Wiscy!! ;)

The kid has a sweet swing and makes any outfield look small. The scouts should keep an eye on my lad.

As I recall, last year about this time, FrankRickard and I attended a "tasting" event at one of our areas largest liquor stores. Beers, wines, coolers, all served in little tiny plastic cups. Didn't think you could get drunk with little cups...but I guess we did. ::)
