tmerton, the game between Redlands and Haskell Indian Nations University brought to mind the article in Sports Illustrated this past week on Jim Thorpe and the Carlisle Indian Industrial School team coached by Pop Warner. Excellent article. Talked about their national championship in 1912. If my memory serves me correctly, I think it was around this time that a school in Arden Hills by the name of Bethel Home School for Bible Studies and Cosmetology was started. ;)

And guess what, JR - there's a Thorpe connection to Haskell!  Thorpe actually attended Haskell before he went to Carlisle.  Haskell at that time was known as Haskell Indian School and was basically a high school.  You heard it here first. ;D

I would be most interested in a Dome  Stiftungsfestivities  event.

Anyone interested in going in on a suite?

YES!

You are right Duff.

What is this becoming, a football board?  ;)

Welcome back ROR, thought maybe the crashing of the Johnnie Basketball bandwagon might have done permanent damage!

BDB, I like the pics!  ;D
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

ROR: You've been nominated to coordinate the Suite at the Twins game.  TDT will be able to make a celebrity guest appearance for any game of the White Sox or Tigers series May 8th-13th.  I am sure finsleft, Ritzy, and Veek would make the trip down from the Great White North.  What about you Sumander??  Wonka would be strictly forbidden from any said event.

BDB: I understand Joe Vavra lives in Menomonie.  Is he a customer of yours?

Chasing MILFs since '82...

A suite would be sweet!!!  I am taking a group of my "good" students to the game on the 10th already (afternoon game).  I would be more inclined to the THursday night game memorial weekend as I am going to the metropolis of Des mOines over the weekend for a wedding

As a side note, the idiot from across the street is back up on his roof again!

Must be that the duct tape and cardboard he used as shingles last fall did not hold up over the winter.

I have an e-mail into my tech person to bring me a digital camera to record this display of idiocy!

Yes he is indeed. I just saw him this morning as a matter of fact.

His wife is my kid's phy ed teacher.

Welcome back Ritzy and ROR. ROR, hopefully your new job involves some product that your MIACPP pals can benefit from your employee discount (e.g., liquor store, sporting goods, strip club??)

Nice fish, Duff.

I'm in on the Twins, but TDT you clearly are officially a foreigner to suggest those dates. The only Twins action on May 10-13 will be on the boat radio or the TV at the Lodge since that is the fishing opener.

+k all around for even getting me to think about the fishing opener

Now here's a plan:

HOW TO SAVE THE AIRLINES

Dump the male flight attendants. No one wanted them in
the first place.

Replace all the female flight attendants with
good-looking strippers! What the hell -- They don't even
serve food anymore, so what's the loss?

The strippers would at least triple the alcohol sales and
get a "party atmosphere" going in the cabin. And, of
course, every businessman in this country would start
flying again, hoping to see naked women.

Because of the tips, female flight attendants wouldn't
need a salary, thus saving even more money. I suspect
tips would be so good that we could charge the women for
working the plane and have them kick back 20% of the
tips, including lap dances and "special services."

Muslims would be afraid to get on the planes for fear of
seeing naked women Hijackings would come to a screeching
halt, and the airline industry would see record revenues.

This is definitely a win-win situation if we handle it
right -- a golden opportunity to turn a liability into an
asset.

We all should be so lucky! Looks like she could chop wood in between fetching beers.
