KR,

Now after seeing your response about Paris I may have been wrong I didnt look at it that way.  You know TDT pretty well so I must bow to your well informed opinion on that topic.

Way too well informed and not by any design of my own.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Well, "leet" was fun while it lasted.  :-\

I'd like to give a shout out to KUBIAK.

Last time we heard from him he was making major coin protecting someone/something in Kuwait and then he was going to make more major coin doing similar in Iraq.

Now we haven't heard anything from him for quite awhile.

Kubiak, what's up?  ???

Fins.

Mrs. Ritz got me the same print signed by Gags for my 30th.  Funny thing is she spent about an hour talking to him (listening actually) about how much he hates that print because they took out some of the players on the field to show him on the sideline (take a look).

That game was one of the best I got to play in!!!Beautiful day, running it up on the tommies at home, etc....

If it hasn't  been covered already, just thought you'd all want to know that the Bethel Royals recently received their conference championship rings. I would make some smart ass bragging remark, but when a team buys rings to celebrate a d3 conference championship, I don't know if they get to brag or if they should be made fun of........

Hackstein Ritz?

Man that stuff is brutal.  :P

I think my father in law buys it for about 7 bucks a case over at the West Side Liquor in Flyer land.

Cheap and I guess it's got a kick. That's why he buys it.  ;)

BU gets rings to celebrate a MIAC championship???  I guess if that's the source of your pride, then good for you.  Seems a bit hokey to me, though.  :D

That's very Redlands of them.  Does the ring mention the loss to Carleton?  ;D

There are only two ways to drink Hackstein.

1) As cold as you can get it without freezing, and then it's barely palatable.

2) Warm, but shotgunned.

I do not recommend either.

Last 4th of July, I brought out to 30-packs of Brigade to the cabin because everyone drinks my beer out there, so I thought I could curb that with an obscure and nasty beer.  It was better than Hackstein, but not by a lot!

I'll bet they would have ordered rings for a 1-9 season as long as the lone win was against the Johnnies.  ::)

Duff, I guess it's not hokey if that's all the higher they aspire and that is their "world championship"! ;)

In further celebration of their football success, BU will be undertaking a major expansion it appears.

"[A $30 million new student center] is one of several projects in a six-year facilities fundraising campaign that totals $105 million and started with a $6 million residence hall that opened a few years ago.

It's the most ambitious building project in the school's 136-year history and includes plans for new classrooms, an expanded library, a $9.5 million expansion of athletic and fitness facilities, and renovations to the university's seminaries in St. Paul and San Diego."
