bennie: Come out of your NHL Playoff cocoon and tell me who's going to win the Conference Finals.

I've got the Ducks taking home Lord Stanley's Cup in the end.

I have been off recovering from surgery. Couldn't have planned it better. I had nothing to do but lay around watching playoff hockey! ;D I am working halftime right now so that I am home in time for hockey.

Of the four teams left, I like the Wings and the Sabres, I am ambivalent about the Ducks and I dislike the Sens. I guess the Wings would be my first choice for the Cup!

Well finally!

The procedure must've went well so +k across the board for that.  :)

You are such a girl, bennie. You like the Wings and Sabres and dislike the Sens.  ???

Aren't the Sens good enough looking?  ;D

I'm  sticking with the Mighty Ducks.  8)

I know the Prez has picked his wardrobe for a fall visit (orange sherbert or something), but here's a chance to help him pick his summer wardrobe.  BTW, when did he change his name to Kevin?

Woowww! What a frickin flamer. Make a website to have people dress you, then get comments about your pink Izod with the popped collar.
"I figured if I were going to get a trendy pink-polo, I might as well get it from a super trendy brand as well."

"Also what is strange is the size. I never wear an XS - but the S was humongous! "

Tmerts, how did you happen to stumble upon that site?

Touchdown Tommy

Good riddance Sid.  Nice prediction Fins.  You keep it up and you'll get a reputation as a great sports mind ala Touchdown Tommy.  Yea Fins I was wondering the same thing, how in the hell did he find that shizz??

BDB: Way to go out on a limb  ::)  ::)  What next?  You'll think about "stealing" 2nd base in Junior's baseball game tonite???

Tmerts: Thanks for the reminder about the trousers.  I haven't ordered them yet but will have to do that soon.  Have you finalized your schedule of Johnnie football appearances for the fall?

RE: Walleyes

Who slayed them over the weekend?  Need pics for evidence.

Thanks much,

TDT, the Ducks are the #2 seed in the west, not exactly a lock. I just think they are cuter than bennie does.  ::)   ;D

Son of BDB's first league game is Thursday night. You better damn right we'll be aggressive on the base path's.  ;)

I don't lower myself to intentionally fish for those gravel lizards.  I did torch some nice carp with my bow the other day, and I managed to pick off this pretty little fellow in the process, too ;D

Good one, BDB.  When I first looked at this I thought I had hit one of those websites where they show you how some dogs and their owners look alike.  :D  We're gonna have to check Duff for gills.

TDT - I figure Marietta, Cobbers, Oles and Tommies for sure.  Other than that we'll have to see.  Have to save some $$$ for the march to the Stagg Bowl.

bennie,
Welcome back - Hope you are on the mend.
I worked a 'Special Olympics' Swimming Tournament last weekend. Got to say that is right up there with Johnnie Football and Cup Hockey.

Story from today's Daily Planet on SJU retaining the Durenberger All Sports title .

Also, from the STRIB, Jim Souhan has a column on SJU golfer Joe Schoolmeesters . The #3 rated Johnnie golf team starts play at the NCAA tourney today.

Well, since Steve Yzerman retired, the Wings aren't as cute as they use to be! :D I dislike the Sens because they are a bit dirty (I know, what hockey team isn't). Chris Neal's hit on Drury a few months ago...Emery "fighting" Biron (a fight nearly as embarasing as Kiprusoff/Vokoun hugging match from a few years ago)...Alfredsson's hit from behind in game 2 on Tallinder (clearly boarding!!!)... I will stick with my three choices!

So which Duck players do you think are cute?  ;) :-*

The local Special Olympics Swim team practices at the pool where I swim. They really are something! Their enthusiasm and team spirit is contagious! :D

Good stuff bennie. The NHL needs a few more million fans like you.  :-*

Bummer that the Sabres went down last night. I was looking forward to 3 seven game series.

Still could be, I suppose.  :-\
