Kilted Rat

In Celebration of some major Karma Milestones of the day, a round of Vitamin K+ for all the usual suspects!

Today's milestones:
Fins hit 800.
KR hit 700
Sumander hit 500
and last but not least:
TDT hit -800!!

Congrats to all!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Been to San Diego once and it was cloudy.  My sources tell me this is HIGHLY unusual.  Many consider it the best place to live in the country.

I was in San Diego in the 60s when it was a sleepy little Navy town and have said for many years that it has the best weather in the US.  Having said that, while there aren't a lot of clouds in San Diego, ask your sources about a little thing called marine layer.  Not clouds exactly but the effect is the same, or worse (by definition cold and damp).  Especially during certain times of the year you'll find more days in San Diego (at least along the coast) than you'd like that are not sunny.  Moving inland helps.

We should put together a pool for when TDT hits four figures on his karma.  His descent has slowed a bit but once we hit football season and he starts ragging on the opposition I expect him to pick up good speed.  Too bad the effort to hold him at 666 didn't work out; now he'll just have to go for volume. ;D

Any predictions?  ;)

Problem with a pool like this is that you can skew the date by applauding him to get hold out until your prediction.

What self-respecting person would do such a thing?  ???  Anyway, once TDT is on a roll he can't be stopped!  Several of us tried to keep him at 666 and couldn't do it - and that wasn't even during fb season.

Tainter Lake? Why did my mind just come up with a couple of amusing lines on how your lake got its name?  :D

Boyz, Lake Tainter is named after a famous lumber baron that operated in this area.

Get your minds out of the gutter! Mine's taking up all the room.  ;D

I do miss all the exciting weather that you guys get in the Midwest. Out here in the summer we get sun...in the winter we get rain. There is an occasional thunderstorm, from time to time we get hail and sometimes even a bit of snow. No tornados, no blizzards... ;)

Before you all move out here and join me, keep in mind that 7+ months with very little sun can be hard on people with SAD (I haven't had any problems). And because I live in a valley where one of the major crops is grass seed (the kind you mow, not the kind you smoke), allergies run amok! I never had any problems for years, but last summer I developed hayfever.  :'(

Ms. Hockey: You'd have to deport Wildcat11 and his gang before TDT would even consider a move to the Pacific Northwest.

I wonder if they would be interested in moving to South Florida! ;)

I just approved my ad in the SJU football program. That must be a sign that hockey season is over and football season is just around the corner. 8)

I'm heading to the races tonight to see 1 of the cars I sponsor have a special night.

It's "Relay at the Races," a special fundraiser for breast cancer. The driver took all the sheet metal off and replaced it with pink colored metal!

A local TV station did a feature story on it the other night, so our car should be the star of the show!
