Eric Perkins said the same thing at 6, but corrected himself at 10.

Carlos Silva: Bad
Denny Reyes: Worse
Juan Rincon: Worst

:D :D :D

Well, house of BDB now has a newly shingled roof and internet based telephone service.

The roofing guys started at 5:30am which was fine, except they said they were going to come tomorrow. Scared the bejeezus out of me when I walked out of the shower not knowing they were there and it sounded like all the trees were coming down.

And, I can now call long distance as much as I want for no additional charge. Only problem with that is I don't know anybody I want to talk to even if it is free.  :-X

Hey Marco Polo, check a map. Toronto is south. :P

Fins, without checking a map, I would have said Toronto was east - which will undoubtedly generate another PM from Drake telling me that Collegeville is north of St. Thomas.  Don't you folks in MN use E and W as directions? ::)

MARCO POLO SAYS: NORTH AND SOUTH ARE ALL YOU NEED.

Sure we do.

You've got your east side of the lake, and then conversely, your west side of the lake.   ;D

Time for the Twins to do a little selling and plan for next year.  They should field offers for Joe Nathan, Luis Castillo, Carlos Silva and Torii Hunter.  Too bad Punto is on the books for another 2.4 million next season.   Screw Mike Vick, Punto is the real criminal.

Excellent post Frank R.  I think it is time to become SELLERS.  Nathan and Hunter have very high value right now.  There are teams desparate for pitching and an impact bat.  I believe we get a lot more bang for the buck if we dish Torii now instead of the compensatory 2 1st Round picks next June (look at who they took this year 5'8" Ben Revere in the 1st round, thought universally in prominent baseball circles to be a 3rd round pick).

BTW: Please drive carefully on HWY 169 from St. Peter to Mankato today.  I understand the Vikings are coming and Koren may be on the loose.

5 weeks til kickoff in Collegeville.  And 6 weeks til BlueDevil Bob rolls out the red carpet for the River Falls vs SJU tilt...

I just noticed that johnniepress has the schedules for 2008 and 2009 up at gojohnnies.  Have those been up for a while?  We open with Alma at home in 08 and still have an open date in 09 for someone to come to Collegeville (the open date is listed as a home game).  The series with UWRF continues both years.

Tmerton, sounds like you had a very nice trip.  Are you considering a permanent move to the Twin Cities area?  You could get a mega-mansion in MSP for a fraction of the cost of a comparable in Wine Country...

Well I should've clarified that I was just talking latitude. But you're almost right, we don't use east, west or even south here. The only direction that matters in MN is north as in "up north", where everyone goes on Friday. ;D

Right on finsleft!

And after the weekend you don't go south, you go home.  8)

I think I was about even.  Narrowly lost all 3 of my parlays at the sportsbooks but won a straight M/L wager on the Twins on Sat.  Won a nice jackpot on the slots at Mandalay Bay.  Played a little blackjack and hung on for dear life.  I had a case of the 12s, 13s, 14s, 15s for a long stretch.

Where is Veek when we need him?  He is the King of Vegas.

Ritzy: Find Veek and tell him he is needed immediately on Post Patterns.

Looks like it's a stout, not an ale.
