Shoot, good call.  Sorry for the oversight.

Anyways, the brewery was is in Cork where I lived for 5 months a few years ago.  The stuff is similar to Guinness but creamier and with more flavor.  Cheaper too at the bars in Ireland.  However, sometimes cheaper just meant we drank more, and that wasnt always a good idea.

well with the rankings out it should generate more football talk.  I hope the rankings are correct.  Would love a rematch with the Johnnies in either place.  Never been to Collegeville so If we are fortunate enough to get that far maybe I can see it this year.  Good luck to the MIAC teams with the exception of  the Tommies Sept 1.

Well Dutch, if there's a rematch, it'll be here, TDT says so.

Hope finsleft isn't posting from the Stearns County Jail this afternoon...

It wasn't me! I'm here posting from the air conditioned comfort of Fins, Fins & Fins, PA.
That story got a lot of local play even before they nabbed the perp. Just to show you there's no stopping a woman who's close to hauling a dude down the aisle. Dress and bridesmaids' dresses get swiped a few days before the wedding...no prob, just go buy new ones. The wedding went off last Saturday at the Abbey Church.

DutchFan2004

Well that may be true.  I would hate to be known as agreeing with TDT.  If the rankings stay the way they are it will be in Collegeville but you have to travel to the Royals home field this year.  Time will tell.

I have to drive up to the cities for an interview tomorrow and am going to make a pitstop at Surdyks to pick up some Fat Tire...I can already taste it's goodness.

Hey Marco Polo, check a map. Toronto is south. :P

Fins, without checking a map, I would have said Toronto was east - which will undoubtedly generate another PM from Drake telling me that Collegeville is north of St. Thomas.  Don't you folks in MN use E and W as directions? ::)

Well I should've clarified that I was just talking latitude. But you're almost right, we don't use east, west or even south here. The only direction that matters in MN is north as in "up north", where everyone goes on Friday. ;D

Right on finsleft!

And after the weekend you don't go south, you go home.  8)...

Ok, you win Tmert!  ;)

Excellent post Frank R.  I think it is time to become SELLERS.  Nathan and Hunter have very high value right now.  There are teams desparate for pitching and an impact bat.  I believe we get a lot more bang for the buck if we dish Torii now instead of the compensatory 2 1st Round picks next June (look at who they took this year 5'8" Ben Revere in the 1st round, thought universally in prominent baseball circles to be a 3rd round pick).

BTW: Please drive carefully on HWY 169 from St. Peter to Mankato today.  I understand the Vikings are coming and Koren may be on the loose.

5 weeks til kickoff in Collegeville.  And 6 weeks til BlueDevil Bob rolls out the red carpet for the River Falls vs SJU tilt...

No need to worry TDT...Koren is safely locked up in St. Peter

What has this world come to when people get to use the sacred natural bowl field for "air-baritoning" or whatever the hell you call it when a bunch of band fruits march around with no instruments?

Soccer on the field is bad enough, a band on the field is even worse, but a band with no instruments on that field?

That's like naked Lutheran's in a Catholic church and no one wants to see that.

Hilarious KR! +k when the clock un-shackles me.

Come to think of it, there are a couple of Lutherans I might want to see nekked, not sure of it in church though. :-\

I can to, but the majority of the Lutherans I know are in my Dad's family and my wife's mom's family.
My dad used to be Lutheran... but he got better ;D

Since there was nothing else on TV on the 4 channels our rabbit ears pick up, MrsKR and I were watching Dateline's "To Catch A Predator" where they have people pretend to be 13 yr old girls in online chat rooms try to lure these adult men into saying they want to have sex with them and then come to their house.

Sick bastards on there all around, scares the crap out of me how many sickos out there are hunting for 13 yr olds.

On tonight's show there was a guy in a Yankees coat, a guy in an Eagles hat, and a guy with a PETA bag. So I learned that Yankee fans, Eagles fans, and PETA members are dirty pedophiles... yet another reason to dislike all 3!

Does anyone know if there is good d3 football near DC?  I might get out of LA and take a job there.  It would be fun to follow a team out there.

There's a great team 18 hrs and 55 min away!

I love that show.   I love how they all say they came to make sure the young boy or girl was okay.  They weren't going to do anything with them and they just want to talk...yeah, that's why you brought a sixer of beer and a pack of condoms.

It's a good place to be if you like to see the Catholic school lose (sorry, pat) as I'm sure you do. They seem to be the St. Thomas of the East ...

Catholic isn't very good and hasn't been for a while, but they play some decent ODAC teams such as Bridgewater (on road this year as are most of Catholic's better games...)

Sat., Sep 1   1:00 pm   vs. Shenandoah •
Sat., Sep 8   12:00 pm   at Ohio Wesleyan
Sat., Sep 15   1:00 pm   at McDaniel •
Sat., Sep 22   1:00 pm   vs. Randolph-Macon • *
Sat., Sep 29   1:00 pm   at Franklin and Marshall •
Sat., Oct 6   1:30 pm   at Washington and Lee • *
Sat., Oct 20   1:00 pm   vs. Hampden-Sydney • *
Sat., Oct 27   1:00 pm   vs. Emory and Henry • *
Sat., Nov 3   1:00 pm   vs. Guilford • *
Sat., Nov 10   1:00 pm   at Bridgewater (Va.) • *

Easy to get to because it's right off the metro (Red) line. There is a nice tavern not far from the field, tho, if it can stay open with DC's rising tax assessments. I think the city needs the money for gender identification training at its jails.

I think Catholic would be happy to have St. Thomas' record the past five years. The Cardinals have definitely struggled of late.
