Yeah Sum, I'll be there, but I don't suppose I'll gear up until next Tuesday or Wednesday. I have been on a rigorous Hamm's liver training regimen this summer, so I should be all set.
Yeah, bad PR at the 10KL Fest. My buddy found one of the guys, so I'll get the scoop next week. From what I heard, one guy OD'd on heroin and the other would've died if he'd been in church.
My pals who work there have always said it's such a fun event to work at because the crowd is so laid back and mellow. 8) 8) 8)

My neighbor works security at both events. He says the 10K fest is a walk in the park compared to the drunk cowboys! We saw a lot of strange siggt around town last week. Lots of tie-dyed clothing.

We are headed for the NC coast this weekend for a weeks stay. Sum Jr. is contemplating driving back from there to attend the FEST. He has a high school buddy that interned out there this summer. Let's see 24 hours of driving or flying home with your family.....I must be getting old!

Did you catch the fact that at the first Kolacky Day celebration, the 6,000 attendees "devoured" 1,600 kolackies?   With 1 kolacky for every 4 persons there must have been a lot of fist fights over them - especially those prune kolackies to which Fins is apparently partial. 

#2 is heading home for a spell on Thursday so I guess he'll have to do the WE Fest next year.  8)
