Tmerton,
Your signature photo is from my days!

That old, eh? :D

It's from an article in 2003 on Jeremy Hood at collegesportingnews.com.  Gotta get rev'd up for the season!

That photo is from 2001.  #78 Tom Engwall on the sideline limits it to 2002 at the latest, and we played Bethel at SJU in 2001 (MONKEYSTOMP), but at the Metrodome in 2002.

Duff, I've been here.

In the wake of the Lubbert deal and the bridge I didn't have much to say.

Could it be????

Is it really him?

Does it really take an untested coach of a mediocre Big Ten team to get Sir Sid to Collegeville?

HA! He walked by me and I said, "Whoa, the Gophers must be in town. We don't get celebrities here otherwise." He looks at me and I introduce myself, shake his hand, and he says, "You from here?" I said "Yep, went to school at St. John's." Sid goes, "I'll tell ya, drive from the cities to here and it's industry all the way, not like before."

Sir Sidney's realm obviously does not extend much beyond the Seven County Metropolitan Mosquito Control District.  :D

Anyone care to venture a guess as to the last time Sid was North of Maple Grove? Maybe, never?????????????
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

No doubt Sid was listening to the Evil Neighbor 830 on his way up there.

Is there any other radio station?  ;D

John looks surprisingly good in maroon and gold-- very Bierman-esque.  Next to those two, however, Fasching looked unfortunately like a skunk that inhabits the east side of the St. Croix.   ;D

Thank goodness for that SJU logo in the corner, however.

Now that you mention it ...  ::)

The more I stare at this, the more I think Gary Fasching bears a striking resemblance to Pepe Le Pew. ;)
