Anybody want to speculate on what would have happened if Bonds would have admired a home run he hit off Bob Gibson or Don Drysdale??

I'm not sure they wouldn't have drilled him just for wearing an earring.  :o

tmerts: You guys please keep your asshole. I'm glad that fiasco is over.

Well, that fiasco is over but since BB is still here (and, good for you and everyone else, likely not going anywhere) there's sure to be more. :-[  It's a good thing football is just around the corner.

oldbethel27,

It's on the St. Olaf page right now.

I totally forgot about the Try-To-Break-Eachother's-Arm Drill! That didn't pan out too well. Weren't there a couple of other interesting ones? Oh yeah, dive-and-try-NOT-to-break-each-other's-ankles drill. To be fair in case he's reading this there were a lot of good ones.

Yeah, I'm at Spring Lake Park finishing up with the practice plan right now. There may be a couple Bethel prospects. We had one go to St. John's unfortunately last year.

Eggs - I saw Opa's mug on the Ole website just before you informed me thereof.

Don't get me wrong; I loved Opa, I just hated that drill.

Good luck at SLP, and hopefully you can make some BU games.

'tis truly a good thing!
Before I go crazy with football chatter, I thought I'd share the following with y'all:

One night, after the couple had retired for the night, the woman became aware that her husband was touching her in a most unusual manner. He started by running his hand across her shoulders and the small of her back.
He ran his hand over her breasts, touching them very lightly. Then, he proceeded to run his hand gently down her side, sliding his hand over her stomach, and then down the other side to a point below her waist.
He continued on, gently feeling her hips, first one side and the other.  His hand ran further down the outside of her thighs. His gentle probing then started up the inside of her left thigh, stopped and the returned to do the same to her right thigh.
By this time the woman was becoming aroused and she squirmed a little to better position herself. The man stopped abruptly and rolled over to his side of the bed.
"Why are you stopping darling?" she whispered.

He whispered back, "I found the remote."

Alright enough of the Bethel family reunion.  Let's try the PM or email system.  I've heard it works great.

RE: August

Well it's August fellas and surprise surprise Freebird and his rambling bunch of idiots have come outta the gate talking sh!t and claiming Bethel gets no respect.  "Oh shouldn't Bethel be favored to win the MIAC".  C'mon get real chief!!!  FYI: I have seen other Royal misfits lurking lately including the babbling and rambling "Royalachilles".

RE: Old School

Always nice to see you wise old guys thinking what TDT was thinking last night as I watched the 756.  Bob "The Intimidator" Gibson woulda thrown the next pitch in the guy's ear.  Too bad the pompous clown Bonds left the game shortly thereafter...Oh but not after taking the field to get showered with praise and worship from the CLUELESS SF fans.  This guy has been and always will be all about BARRY.

TDT - sorry to take up so much of your cyberspace.  How about: enough about Barry Bonds?

Who cares who's favored or not favored and why do you care if someone does?  None of it means ANYTHING.

Will someone please explain the Karma thing to me?  I know that there is karma, and I know why there is karma, but what I don't know is how one gets or looses karma, i.e. does someone actually award it?

Sure no problem.  The great Finsleft awards K points depending on how much he likes you.  In fact, I bet he'll "adjust your K rating very soon...

Yes, if you speak respectfully to me and TDT, your karma magically goes up.

See? POOF! There ya go up to 13.

oldbethel27

Thank TDT! That may be the first non-attacking thing you've ever written to a Bethel guy... how'd it feel?

Tommy,
Just in case the fins was absent I took care of it - I hope I had the President's permission. :D

Just got back from a trip to River Falls, dreaming of the upcoming Stiftungsfestivities.  :)

That plus the Chiefs fans are all over the place. Good for biz.  8)

oldbethel27

Just to twist the metaphorical dagger, I have to get my annual self-promotion off my chest:  I get a proud feeling every time I go to the Stiftungsfestivities web site and read the part that gives me credit (albeit not by name, which is quite fine) for the namesake.
