This is the first I had heard that Crees is out for the season?  Who's going to back up Kofoed?

dbhammel

fins,

I am sure that coach G is a hoot.  His comment about the $4,200 salary was great.  At the rate you could call it slave wages.  So I guess he feels he is a slave and owned.  You know what they say about about that you can't fire a slave you can only kill them.  So I guess you are stuck with him.  Not a bad guy to be stuck with.  I think he is a real asset.  Seems to me to be a one in a million guy.

Jordan Hansel

He was a frosh last year but played a decent amount.

8-17 for 116 yards and 1 interception in 5 games

A tradition unrivaled...

As a student I loved that Gags lives in a little old house with his little old wife on the edge of campus.  No frills or anything, just a nice little place with a swingset and all.  I wonder if Flynntown residents ever wandered over there late at night after a few Hamms, it was quite close to the uperclass apartments on campus (AKA bars)?

I'm pretty sure he makes a little more than that per year nowadays.  I don't know the exact amount, but I think SJU makes it a little more worth his while.  He doesn't sell insurance anymore, if that is what you are getting at.

The Oles seem to be boasting up their team early this year.  Must be the love that Reusse gave them that has given them new life-- as in, last year never happened.  My guess is they've been working really hard in the offseason too.  Oh, what will the Johnnies, Royals and Cobbers do?

St. Olaf was second to last in the conference last year in defense and dead last in penalties and time of possession.  When the snow starts a-flying, can the Oles hold onto the ball?  Or are they the greatest show on (watered-down!) natural turf?

It's also interesting that AO has competition now!

High school two-a-days also start Monday.  Ahh--football season!

I can't remember if they mentioned his name or not, but the coaches yesterday were high on this freshman QB coming in from Holy Angels.

And Duff's FB game was nuthin' compared to his tailgate game now.  ;)

True.  To quote Tim McCarver,  "As bad as he was at playing the trap, that's how good he is shotgunning 16oz Milwaukee's Best Ice."

Willy Wonka

I know an Ole starter and he's quite confident in their team this season. However, he's on the offense and that hasn't really been the issue the last few years...

More importantly, did TDT run away to hide with his tail between his legs after I threatened to decleat him at the next tailgate? He hasn't been sighted on here or the fantasy baseball league we're in, where he's been spanked 8 weeks in a row and staring at #9.

You don't suppose he actually went and found a job?? ::)
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

The White Silly

Could someone (maybe Amaru?) please give me an update on my beloved Auggies?...I really think that Arena League Offense is gonna take the Miac by storm this year...Respect the Cagematch...
