My wife reported tonight that she was introduced today at her school to a priest from India who is teaching in Minnesota - at St. Thomas!  She asked him if he knew about the rivalry between the Tommies and Saint Johns, and he seemed somewhat unclear on the concept.  To clue him in she told him he had to remember that "Tommies suck!"  She claims he seemd to "get it" and laughed at lot.  He had apparently also spent a couple of months at Saint John's and had told her very nice things about Benedictine hospitality.

Well I've been a football fan all my life and have been a member of the St. Thomas football team for the past two years, so I feel like I've got something to contribute to any MIAC football discussion.

This will be somewhat useful for about 3 months of the year.  Varsity experience is cool, though, especially if you describe how awful it is to lose to the Johnnies.

Two sisters........ both who are either attending or graduated from St. Thomas, so Johnnies need not try (wouldn't want to hurt your self-esteem), and after spending some time in Ireland I can say that nothing beats a fresh Guinness.
