SJU's does not return a kicker with any made field goals.  Marietta's kicked 8 last year.

I'll give you that.  The SJU kicking game is perenially weak. :o

One would think that with all the long haired bearded dudes running around collegeville that one of them could have some kicking skills from a childhood of soccer.

It takes more than being a hippy to be a difference-making placekicker. :D Those who've never kicked have a hard time understanding that there's so much more to it than growing up playing soccer.  Can I get an Amen, Cheese?

Glad to hear your daughter is safe, and here's to another great season of grilling!  Cheers, my friend!

Much to my horror, the NHL has an agreement with Crocs. When I heard this, I had to witness the travesty for myself (in the process finding these shoes for Tmerton). I could get a pair of Blue Jacket shoes and be mocked both for my choice in footwear and my team choice. As a Johnnie fan, cheering for the Blue Jackets keeps me humble! ;)

My apologies to those who find Crocs attractive. 8)

bennie,
Will you be in your regular reserved seat? ZIP's on board - next best thing to being there.  8)

That is the plan. Hopefully I can get the morning errands that need to be done completed and still be in front of my computer at 11am sharp! ;D

Not sure yet if I'm in or not, depending upon whether or not I need to run up to Milaca to trade scouting tapes.  If I do, I will be there but late; if I don't, I may have to work breaking down said tapes...meaning I will be on here holding down the fort with the virtual gang.

Nice...my karma = 420....smoke'em if you got'em...if not, it'd be better if you did....

'See' you then. Zip & I both hope they have thier act together this year better than last. With new stations on board it could be a mess - but with what I know about computers that may have nothing to do with it. Maybe they just need to hire a 10 year old to set it up.  :P

The Picture On The Night Stand

After a long night of making love, he notices a photo
of another man on her nightstand by the bed. He begins
to worry.

"Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.

"No, silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.

"Your boyfriend, then?" he continues.

"No, not at all," she says, nibbling away at his ear.

"Is it your dad or your brother?" he inquires, hoping
to be reassured.

"No, no, no! You are so hot when you're jealous!" she
answers.

"Well, who in the hell is he, then?" he demands.

"That's me before my surgery."

I'll second Carl.  The Johnnies had some soccer stud a couple of years ago - 04 or maybe 05, I can't recall, who everyone thought would be the second coming of Rotundi (who wasn't that good).  The kid never panned out.

The Johnnies haven't had a very strong kicker in quite some time (and still have been very successful) - even that little Brandon kid was limited to only 30 yards and in.
