D doesn't sound good now-Marietta now on SJU 20.

sju56321

D gets tough and holds Marietta to a field goal attempt-NO GOOD.

I'm not sure that is a surprising as the Johnnie announcers seem to think. Central is a darn good team again this year.

Another TD for Kofoed and SJU...awaiting the x-tra point...17-0.

SJU dominating right now-SJU ball on their 42, after 3 and out for Marietta.

Mount is up 72 at half-who do they put in now? and are they playing averett school for the blind?

sju56321

TD Kofoed, 24-0. Now no more scoring and I will win my pick'em. And a Monkey Stop.
Remember '03, SJU opened with a 72-7 win over Hamline.

Johnnies get 3 PATs in a row - now if they cut down on the penalties things are looking up.  :P

27-0 SJU.
How many time has SJU had two fieldgoals in a half?

We're sounding good!  A few costly penalties (which I'll chalk up to it being the first game) just have to be eliminated.

Sounds like the offense is working together well.  Blackmore is solid, as are Kofoed and Weber.  Hope they only get better from here.

Quiet on the Gunderson front, but I assume they are overly worried about him so he's getting a lot of attention, which is freeing up Joe Luke.

Go Johnnies!

A tradition unrivaled...
