We're sounding good!  A few costly penalties (which I'll chalk up to it being the first game) just have to be eliminated.

Sounds like the offense is working together well.  Blackmore is solid, as are Kofoed and Weber.  Hope they only get better from here.

Quiet on the Gunderson front, but I assume they are overly worried about him so he's getting a lot of attention, which is freeing up Joe Luke.

Go Johnnies!
Who are Schnobrich & Busack (sp)? - they sound good.

Didn't catch who UST was playing today.
Any help on that?

34-32 final.  Appalachian State was last year's Division I-AA champion.  The Wolverines had a field-goal attempt blocked at the end of the game.

34-0 SJU and that Michigan loss was a great finish-Glad I have the BTN network.

So being too far away, here's my nervous Nellie moments:

1) SJU often has its hands full with a middle of the pack WIAC and Marietta is middle of pack OAC ...

2) Returning WR had a lot of success in OAC (all-conference) and although Mark L. called the other guy a "first-year" player ... Dawson is a 6-4 transfer from West Virgina. That's a lot of size and speed against a secondary with some  questions.

One the other hand, Marietta has a coach named after the wife on "The Jeffersons."

Nevermind ... guess those guys on the OAC pick 'em had the spread pretty close.

I still stand by the Jefferson's remark, however.

Just got back in.  Seems like I always miss the good stuff, sounds as if the Johnnies are looking pretty damn good.  Now another TD, stow away the Redenbachers for another week.

So in a quick synopsis, everything is going pretty good other than defensive penalties?
