I've been milking it since yesterday!!!

I'm not sure if milking is a term that should be used in the context of this conversation :D

Duffman...you are right....in fact no milking for at least a week!

first off, Johnnies Suck...secondly, two predictions this weekend for the games that count...Augsburg wins 18-0...Concordia and there tri-quarterback offense get absolutely stomped...31-0

Do you have a THIRD prediction to to put the icing on this?  I guess I'll let you know when hell freezes over in both Collegeville and Moorhead if you do ;)

During the West Virginia/Maryland game last night, the announcers said that WV's fullback, Owen Schmitt, played a year at UW RiverFalls before transfering to WV, walking on, and eventually getting the starting spot.  He had a few impressive runs, and it was said that he'd make some pro teams happy.

I still think the only good thing to come out of Wisconsin is beer and cheese.

Wonka--heard that Diercks and wife are coming to UST on saturday.

hey mongolian warrior.....

Owen Schmitt is the real deal, and a nice guy too.  Here in WV, the Charleston Daily Mail did a nice article on Owen a couple of days ago.

Read it here:  http://www.dailymail.com/story/News/2007091356/Fullback-nearly-abandoned-his-quest-in-a-WVU-parking-lot/

My guess is that he's good enough to make the SJU traveling squad!

Johnnie--Thats a good article. I'm kinda shocked that the RiverFalls coach let him go.   He reminded me of a Mike Alstot when I watched him last night.
I'd post a lot more if I had a real job

Good luck to all the MIAC teams this weekend. I'll be interested to see who comes out on top of the BU/Cord and UST/GAC games. You can say whatever you want about non-conference play, but its not until after the first week of the MIAC games that you have any idea how the conference might sort out.

I'm hoping the Oles take care of business again this week vs. the lead pipers, as I will be in NJ at Rutgers homecoming (vs. Norfolk State) which will likely be a blowout but should be a good experience anwyay. I'm pumped to see Ray Rice put on a show.

I am excited for the CC/BU game tomorrow.  Predicting a close cobber victory, but I will definately have a summary by Monday.  Good luck to all MIAC teams this weekend.

GO COBBERS!

I just returned from a business conference up near Grand Rapids.  This morning it was snowing outside.  I couldn't believe it!

I know it will be nicer than that tomorrow behind the pine curtain.  Even when the weather is bad it's always a good time on top of the hill behind the scoreboard.

I'll be there bright and early.

Go Johnnies!!
Go Johnnies!!!

To what do you mean attacking a certain University in this conference?  It could have easily been any of the schools with religious affiliation that play one way, and then hide behind a cross! ;D

Wife and I should be up to Evil land around 10:30 or so.  We've been de-veining the shrimp all day and won't start cooking the lobster 'till we get up there!  I hope the person in charge of butter and lemons is brining enough!   ;)

Go Auggies, Hopefully it will be a great game from first to last whistle!

Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

Just looked at the listings and it appears the SJU-UWRF game is on tonight at 9:30 on local cable TV (Comcast - Fox Sports regional).

Y'all have a good time at your games - best to all attending the Stiffyfest.  #50 has to have an MRI on his knee next week so you won't likely see him playing tomorrow.

We'll miss the Reformation Saturday game next week but we'll be there 10/6.  (FYI, I once had a good Lutheran secretary who, in her spare time at work, read books on Lutheran theology - in the original German!  And her birthday - none other than Oct. 31 - I kid you not.)

Go Johnnies!

This joke is always so cute ::).  When was the last time Auggie beat Bethel, or was anything like competitive in the MIAC?  Ten years ago?  That must have been about the same time you had some new material on BU.  Good on you for trying, but that horse was dead long before you started beating on it.  I can assure you it doesn't bother anybody with ties to BU nearly as much as you think it does.  In all seriousness, enjoy the pre-monkeystomp shrimp/lobster ;).

That is always nice to hear about snow down south, still no snow in Fairbanks :) though the temp has dipped into the upper 30's.  Will trade it with you all later.  Best of health to all this weekend.

[quoteApple Orchard:  Is there a better place in the world each Fall than the Apple Orchard in Collegeville located off Fruit Farm Road as you enter campus.  Buy a dozen of the delicious apples, take a hayride, sip some apple cider, and soak in the surroundings[/quote]

this is a beer spitter at this time of the night....made #5 on TDT's list.  amazing..

what about 'A scenic paddle boat ride on either of the Gemini Lakes as you enter campus", or "A quiet moment on the shores of Lake Sag, near the Monastic Gardens. . .
