Touchdown Tommy

So I was doing a little sleuth work this evening after reading LAB's account of the fights at Target Center last night.  Came across the name of the intended target of the shooting at the TC last night...none other than former Auggie fballer WR Yarzue Slowon.  Wow.

Coming next week, Detective Touchdown Tommy lets us all in on why OJ is innocent of the latest charges, where Jimmy Hoffa truly was laid to rest, and the reason that Bethel continues to be mistaken as a cheap and dirty team ;)

Anyone watch the Pats vs Chargers tonight... New England looks really really tough. Does anyone besides maybe the Colts challenge them this year??
RB George Rogers, about the upcoming season:
"I want to rush for 1,000 or 1,500 yards, whichever comes first."

M&G, after seeing the Colts struggle against the Titans earlier today, I don't even think they give the Pats a game. That NE team is on a whole 'nother level right now. They're scary good.
Nice day, huh?

OK, I just have to share this video. It's of a Japanese game show in which the contestants have to try to clear hurdles while running on a treadmill. It's fan-freaking-tastic.

TDT's pink helmet would have fit right in.

Guess who!  The youngest member of the stiftungsfestivities, not even old enough to drink but that doesn't matter.  I get high on life.  Looking forward to another Johnnie win on saturday!

Willie??  Say it ain't so.  This place has lots of "adult" chatter.  BTW: You selected a poor moniker.  The original Freebird is a Bethel student/grad.  Enough said.   8)  8)

Don't worry TDT, I've got better things to do.  I'll hardly be on this site.  I'm T.C. (that's too cool in old people language.)  I just gotta show my johnnie pride
I used to be with it, then they changed what "it" was, now what I'm with isn't "it."

Still trying come to grips with losing to F@#*ing Bethel at home like that.... Wow

Anyway, a very exciting game, but not a sharp one by the Cobbers, especially defensively, to me they just weren't as aggressive and physical as I havef seen them in earlier years and even earlier this year. The offense looked good at times, but as Maniac mentioned it is still wierd that they are relying so much on the passing game. All in all, this will definitely be a test for them to see how they respond to this game. As much as it hurts, it can all be wiped away with a W next week over the Johnnies.  Should be a great game.

Nicely put M&G.  What a game Cobbs, what a game.  I still say that the game to watch will be taking place in Collegeville next weekend, I hope the Rats a ready and that they really do put on a good tailgate..

Chances of FC going to Collegeville= 100%
Chances of M&G in attendance at C'ville = 75%

Cobber fans, we hope you can join us for the Stiftungsfestivities this Saturday in Collegeville when the Cobbers come to town. The tailgate party is located in the parking lot above the scoreboard end of the field. We are usually there around 9:00 a.m. with the grills going by 10:30. Bring a culinary delight to share if you like.

We will have a few country western cds playing to help make you feel at home. ;)

I prefer the hurdling on the treadmill to this one.

I was expecting the click the link and see a headline like: "Another Auggie Receiver Overshot".

Well M&G and maniac have pretty much summed up last weekends game vs. bethel.  Tough game to lose, but nice to watch.  I hope for all the glory of CC tradition that they play Larson on defense at safety.  He is too good of an athlete to have on the bench all day long.  He has went for starter to backup qb.  Forget that!  Aaron Gorazcowski can be backup qb.  We need larson in the defensive backfield or else Kofed is going to pick apart the cobbers all day.  Defense will need to step up and not come out flat this weekend at all or else give Gags his 9278th win in college football.

Good to see you maniac at the game, definately a good one.  My apologies for not making it down to Mick's had some other plans.  We will meet up at SJU this weekend.

Unlike M&G, I will be 100% sure to be in C'ville this weekend.  I will be there by 7 a.m. running laps and doing 100 jumping jacks before sprinting into the endzone as if I scored the winning touchdown......wait......I wake up and I will be there by 10.

Great work continues to be done at JohnnieFootball.com. :-*  Congrats, guys, and +k to the founders and writers.  Love the pictures; I hope the pink porta-potty is permanent - it just needs TDT's helmet hanging from the door to make it complete.

Two suggestions:
1.  It needs to be more printer friendly.  Right now it is not at all - 7 essentially blank pages and one page of text. :P
2.  Need to be able to leave comments or - gasp - even a message board? :o ;)

Another 5 star piece from DustySJU.  I need a dictionary for a few words though.

Which one of you Cobbers went to Breckenridge High School with Isaac Flenner?
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

Not gonna happen.  We discussed it, but that would require us to have someone always monitoring it, and we don't want to do that ;)
