Alright the work week is done.

Predicting a cobber upset 24-22.

GO COBBERS!

See everyone in the morning!

BDB

Just returned from watching the MHS Homecoming parade to see kids of BDB in the parade. Boy roller blading with the youth hockey group and girl walking with St. Joseph's Elementary.

The kids are all throwing out candy and my girl nailed me in the head with a
Brach's Sour Insanity LemonLime Bubble Gum.  :D

Let's try this school thing-if you attended classes for one semester each year, it would take you 8 years to graduate-same amount of money-and you get to play football and delay entry into the "real world." Right now, that sounds pretty good. ;D

bennie

15 credits a term x 2 terms a year x 6 years= 180 credits!!

Hey, it does take 180 credits to get a bachelor's degree...at a quarter school! ;)

If I remember correctly, he did take some terms off from school.  :P

Hasn't this Keating subject been beaten to death every year for the past five or six years?  You get the impression some people would bitch if their ice cream was cold.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Yup, every year SJU happens to get a few of its studs back for a 5+ season it gets brought up — and for good reason. It's happened just about every year for the past five or six years at Collegeville, but no where else in the MIAC.

PS - How bad is an injured TJax gonna look this weekend at Arrowhead? I'm already sick with worry and the game's 40 hours away!
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Thank you Duffman for that holiday reminder in honor of the Bellair-est man we know.

First time poster, just wanted to say I've definitely enjoyed reading your guys' posts over the last few years and I look forward to now being able to contribute without breaking that unwritten rule.  See you all at the Stiftungsfestivities.

GO JOHNNIES!

Sprained68, welcome to the board.  I hit you with your first +k.
Glad you're on the board, I'm sure all the other posters are also
pleased to have another Johnnie poster added.

Not that it matters, but...

Keating shattered his arm
Elliot herniated a disk in his back freshman year
McCambridge blew out his knee sophomore year
Pantzke blew out his knee junior year
Linneman shattered his ankle senior year

Anyone else you're questioning?

Are you suggesting that these were intentional injuries or what? ::)

A tradition unrivaled...

Nope, I'm not suggesting anything. I'm sure similar injuries have occurred across the conference — albeit not to the "big" names, perhaps — and none of them seem to come back for more. I know I had a chance to but decided against it despite being an all-conf player as a junior. Just seems a little ironic that the best team in the league would be the one taking full advantage of the red-shirting ability.

Wait...is it too late to question the "dropping the weight" injury??

Willy;   Perhaps if there were more than one team worth coming back to you might see it happen occasionally.   :-*
