That's certainly not Anna.

CC Backer,

Check out the Park City Ski Resort.  I think that will be the ski area of choice this winter.  Or we can just go back to Big Sky in late december.

Cobbernation,

Did you get the email I sent the email address in your profile?

Park City is a great ski town/skiing combo. You can ski right to Main Street. You ought to pop for a day at Deer Valley just to see how the other half lives. For skiing alone, however, the Alta/Snowbird combo is much better -- unless you're a boarder.

Back when I lived in Minny, my brother and I did a four-day, four-hill drive to Montana: drove to Red Lodge, then Bridger Bowl, then Big Sky, then Jackson Hole. Not a lot of partying but plenty of excellent onslope action.

Repete,
If you ever have a chance I would highly recommend Big Mountain.  It's in Whitefish.  Check it out!  I have been to Big Sky and Bridger Bowl many a time.  They are awesome mountains.

CN - You know I'm down with whatever, as long as there is good snow and cute ski bunnys  ;)

My father (who lives in Western ND) and I took the Amtrak out to Whitefish this past winter. We skied Big Mountain for a day, then rented a car and went down to Missoula to ski Montana Snow Bowl, then hit up Lost Trail Powder Mountain on the MT/ID border, then did a second day at Big Mountain. It was a lot of driving for four days of skiing, but the trip absolutely kicked ass. The train technique was nice too. Not having to drive from MPLS to the mountains is convenient.

Edit: in college my buddies and I did Jackson Hole freshman year, Big Sky sophomore year, and Bridger Bowl junior year. They were all awesome places and I'd go back in an instant.
Nice day, huh?

Forgot to mention, St. Olaf hasn't won a tiltle since 1979. I don't even remember who was president then... ::)  Just had to throw that out to get the pot stirring started early. ;D

Jimmy Carter, if you really wanted to know ;)
Dang, and I was gonna guess one of the Roosevelts  :)

Not to get off the subject of running up the score(as I was on the team when Coe came to collegeville in a playoff game and went home with a 72-3 loss, but their was really wasn't a 2nd or 3rd team).

Ahem...it was 72-2. They got a flukey safety, no field goals for Coe! ;) I have a friend that played football for Grinnell. That year they battled it out with Coe, but Coe ended up with the playoff spot. He said that he and a bunch of his teammates listened to that game on the radio and decided that they couldn't have done any worse because you can't score more than 72 points in one game. I then had to burst his bubble by telling him that SJU beat Bethel by scoring 77 points two years later. ;D

Plus, we put up 71 (STO), 68 (HU), 69 (UST), 74(MAC), and 62(CAR).  PLUS, this was a time with only 4 playoff teams from each region.  SO this talk of "running up scores" is only relevant to when the playoffs were expanded.  In 93 we had to put points on the board because that was a major factor in seeding and there we no automatic bids.  Also if we would have really "run up the score" in a few of those games, no doubt in my mind would we would have gotten to 100 at least 2 times.  Best thing about that year was punting on 3rd down vs. Bethel!!
