Are the Gusties and Oles both healthy going into the game?

I'm 50/50 on heading to Northfield on Sat.  Depends a lot on the weather.

I don't know about the Gusties but St. Olaf is a healthy squad. Chance of rain Sat. which is a bummer since it is our Homecoming weekend!

Frank will be the only one who can answer that for the Gusties. I didn't start watching the game last week until the final five minutes, when Hamline was burning timeouts like crazy to tack on a few more TDs.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

We had losses at a terrible Augsburg squad, at a bad Concordia team, at an extremely down UST team and at Mac during my days. Running it up really isn't common in MIAC basketball, as the "haves" are much closer to the "have nots" than in football. Besides, GAC typically schedules national tournament caliber teams for nonconference games and plays in high quality tournaments, so we don't exactly get the Crown Colleges to beat up on like some teams (that's Bethel's forte in hoops, FYI).

For the record, Bethel(the early pick to win the 07-08 MIAC title) beat Crown by 6 points last season after being down at the half.  The UMAC is a bit more competitive in Basketball with the MIAC.  -----Also, Bethel did run up the score on River Falls last season -107 points, while River Falls apparently is a national title contender in football after beating up on the johnnies for a half.

As they say in cricket, let that bait go through to the keeper.

LPGE was a formidable opponent tonight, but we still eeked out a 4 touchdown win.  I even went for two after the last touchdown!!!  (Oh wait, we always go for two in 7th grade FB!) ;D

Early Predictions:  STO 42 GAC 24     SJU 53 CAR 14

So should we go with the Stiftungsfestivities at Carleton in the parking lot on the south end of the stadium? Start around 10:00 a.m.? Let me know your thoughts.

A little slow today, I had been under the impression that the game of the century, aka GAC/STO was this weekend.  I hope I wasn't mistaken.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

I wish I had a split personality. I'd drive to Northfield on Saturday and watch both games at the same time.
But, since I have no personality, I'm not going to either one.

JR;  Someone mentioned the Owatonna chapter was planning something... maybe we could throw in with them.

TDT;  My thanks for your book review of Saturday Rules by the A-Man.... your inspiration has resulted in a signed copy of the book delivered directly to my door.  Much thanks and praise.  I owe it all to you.   :-*

ESPN Game Day crew is already in town for the Duck/Cal game. If I happen to run into any of the guys, I will let them know they still have time to get to Minnesota for the GAC/STO game of the week! ;)

A couple pages back Ritz was talking about blocking in 93 for the offensive juggernaut.....must have been for the 2s and 3s.  The starting o-line in 93 was Stanley, Hermann, Windfeldt, Chamberlan and Dojan.  They didn't play much after halftime during the year.  The 2s played a bunch with Pletcher, Kemper and Ramler at the helm.

Total points scored against Coe in 1991--- 75.

Should be a hot time in Northfield! Hide the heroin addicts that are pervasive there, right? Anyway, good luck to all. I'll be in Indiana seeing my beloved Little Giants put a whuppin' on the Quakers of Earlham.
