I remember that commercial on the TV.  Growing up in the cities that was the only beer around.

Well, that's a start shake. Although 1 or 2 Hamm's taste great without getting "hammed." (Although some will say the more Hamm's they drink the better they like it.  :D )

The question is Hamm's good? couldn't have been answered any better than by janesvilleflash, who has levitated many a beer in his day.  8)

Sorry BDB, I was taking a break there in order to keep my family in Hamm's.

Is Hamm's actually good?

Son, I suggest you just march yourself down to the local pop shop and buy yourself a case or a turdy-pak for the reasonable price at which it is sold. (You'll feel like you're stealing, but you can make your peace with the Lord later.) Then sit yourself down and listen to the sound of the pop-top which should trigger the Pavlovian response of activating your salivary glands. As you tip your head back and feel the cold, clear liquid bathe your taste buds, you will experience the sensation that you are, in fact, holding in your hands, the modern version of the nectar of the gods, all in the convenience of a 12 ounce aluminum can. As you enjoy the refreshing goodness of another and another, you'll ask yourself. "What took me so long to find this stuff?" and then you will reflect, and thank God and Pat Coleman for leading you down this path.
Amen.

BDB

Amen!

shake, I believe that fins has answered your question.

Now the quest is yours alone.  8)

Any chance of having Fat Tire beer as the beer of choice? Or 8-9 Fat Tires and then the Hamms?? ;D Oh, and do you guys drink Old Style up there?

OzJohnnie

Speaking of beer, here's a great add from Carlton Draught (a good Aussie pub beer).  They have quite a few, but this was the first that started off a long line of very funny commercials.  Another one, called Flashbeer, is worth taking in as well.

Ahhh, the amber nectar.  Nothing beats a couple snags on the barbi with a some stubbies on a warm arvo after spending the week flat out like a lizard drinking.

If it is beer than I am fan of Shiner.  When my friends make me drink the cheap stuff it is all about the Old Style.  You can't drink cheap liquor.  I can always go for gin or whiskey.

The Olaf defense is better than what they displayed against Augsburg.  They have a good shut down CB.  The DL will get good penetration, and can force QBs and RBs to make bad decisions.  Penalties and a short field hurt the Oles against Augsburg.

Been a while since I've had Shiner - it was a favorite when I lived in Texas. ;)

Shiner's pretty good, not much can beat a black and tan if your at a bar that has Guiness and Bass
I like to picture my Jesus singing lead vocals for Lynard Skynard with like a band of Angels behind him, and I'm in the front row HAMMERED drunk!!!

Shiner or Leinie would be my choice. Unfortunately, I don't live in either beer's native land.

You aren't too far from either, PC. Rodmans, at least in Maryland if not the DC story, has Shiner. Recently for about $5/six. MD state liquor stores sell Leinies -- not all varieties but one of two.
