I've been there, actually. But it's like 40 minutes from here to the American Legion Bridge.  :-\

The Olaf defense is better than what they displayed against Augsburg.  They have a good shut down CB.

Would that be the dread-locked gangsta who helped hold GAC's starting receivers to 18 catches for 249 yards last year or Augsburg's dominant duo to 26 for 351 and 4 TDs last week?

Penalties and a short field hurt the Oles against Augsburg.

I could be wrong, but 421 yards passing does not suggest a short field.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Another reason to try Hamms...

I drag a healthy supply of my poison of choice, Summit Pale Ale, up to my relatives' lake cabin, and any bottles left over are gone the next time I come up.

I can stock the fridge with Hamms at $5.89 a 12-pk, and it's still there to great me the next trip up...a hidden economical benefit.
If the human brain were so simple that we could fully understand it...we would be so simple that we couldn't.

I remember in the mid-70's they had Hamm's Draught in a can shaped and colored like a keg, can't remember if it was 12 or 16 ounce, but we sure put away alot of it for a couple of summers.

Now, correct me if I'm wrong but does having dreads automatically make you a 'gangsta'? I would say, used in this context that it is a bit of a derogatory remark and would like the board to know that while the corner in question may have dreads and may talk a bit on the field he is a very nice guy and shouldn't be personally attacked by people who do not know him. This type of behavior (people assuming things about football players and writing them for others to see) has occurred recently (OSU coach vs. reporter) and I don't think we need more of it

chad - Apologies, it was meant in good fun. My lengthy track record suggests you'll know when I'm making personal attacks :)

But you didn't answer the question...is Deontae Hutchins really your shutdown corner or was that a joke by OleFan?

So are you saying a gangsta isn't a very nice person?  It seems like you are the one doing the attacking.  I have spent a lot of time working with Snoop Dogg and 50 cent on music videos and I would like the board to know they were extremely nice guys but also happen to be gangsta's.  Gangsta's shouldn't be personally attacked or generalized.

I've been thinking about going with dread-locks.

True 'nuff horn. You can bring Hamm's to a party, and know which beer is yours.

(Although it doesn't work as well anymore with the crowd I hang with.)

Well, I can get Yuengling easily, so it doesn't carry the same cachet as the other two. :)

Wow...busy day on the board.

Yes, Mac and Ham is the game of the week for some. Not me, but I'm sure a few alum and about 69 players (thats both teams). I pick Hamline 20, Macalester 14.

Wonka, how I can I not forget that basketball beatdown. I also remember poor Derek Nelson getting a Charley Good elbow the next year.

2.25 captain/cokes all day long in Hutch. Yea! Old Style is a solid one dollar tap beer. 30 packs of Hamms are tough to come by around these parts. How about a Schell's Brew Tour for MIAC PP?

Gotta go, Newport Beach is on.

And how old were you at the time?  Perhaps you were just thinking about the Beaver(since Leave it to Beaver reruns were going on at the time of course ;))
