Pat,

I looked at Mary Hardin Baylor and I have to say I was not that impressed, its not like they beat traditional powers...Christopher Newport is ok, Sul Ross state has had one winning season in the last 9 years and that was 5-4...has not had a winning season since 2000...and lets not forget they lost by 14 to Wesley who was DESTROYED by Whitewater again...Sorry I just don't see it

I know past performance is not indicative of future returns, but until they show better in the playoffs I can't believe the hype...

Wild finishes weren't only in d3 and d1 this weekend.

from the sc times ... can't remember the last time I've heard of this actually used.

MILACA — A strange turn of events in the last six seconds led to a stunning loss for the Wolves (3-2).

With six seconds remaining in a tie game, Milaca punted from its own ten-yard line, and Mora's returner fair caught the ball with 00.7 remaining. The Mustangs elected to try a free-kick field goal following the fair catch, and Hauke Rienhoff connected off the kicking tee from 44 yards out .

Rienhoff had initially missed his first attempt, but officials ruled that Milaca had called timeout before the kick, and the junior kicker made the best of his second chance.

TC - In answer to your question mnany pages back - Of course it was Smokey calling to enlist "The Dude's" help after Walter pulled out his Glock at the bowling alley in the classic of all films, "The Big Lebowski"

Olefan, Is there a La Crosse game at St John's next Saturday? (As opposed to a Johnnie game in La Crosse)If so where do they play?

OleFan

It is the Hot Dish Classic at the Noble Sports Complex.  The tournament benefits the American Cancer Society.  It is both college and men's club teams.  There will also be a high school tournament.  UMD or the Lakers will likely win the event.

I don't think you are supposed to quote yourself

QuoteI am wondering what the coach does starting Monday when the team has a game like that.
My guess is not much different happens. Probably just preparing for next opponent.

We can stay late and practice extra points.

Gagliardi and WW had the where-with-all to pull out the close ones. LINFIELD did not.

retagent...is that Big Lebowski talk coming from that link I see on my d3football.com header page? Amusing.

Johnnie Fans,

I don't see the Johnnies falling out of the top ten.  You didn't take a loss and found a way to win the game. 1-100 points a W is a W.  I think there may be a few votes lost such as with the Dutch last week.  But to drop out of the top ten without a loss I don't think will happen.  Not with all the other top ten losses.

Why does SJU have to have a game like that anyway? Does Mount? SJU needs to focus each week and be ready to play. Having said that I really don't think Saturday v. Olaf will be that close.

Zip, that could easily be interpreted two ways.  Given your recent displeasure with the way the
Johnnies are playing I'm not 100% certain what you are saying.

I think the Johnnies will win by 2 touchdowns.  I don't expect a wild, high scoring game.
I think the Johnnie defense will be the key to the game.

Depends, do you want me to be there 57??
Loaded question.  ;D
Sure  - I want to finally meet all the MIACPP & Stiftungfesters. Be my first game in a long time & class reunion but that will just be a bunch of old farts like me.
I might even buy you a Zima  :P

I'm a little more surprised at the defensive and special teams performance.  I never expect much from the O.  Twenty points is better than I expected.  I even went out and picked up the Lions D for fantasy football thinking that the Bears O would be bad.
