Come on, we went to St. Olaf where drinking is considered a sin.   ;)  At least we could have communion.

Hahha 10-7 over Hot Carleton...haha...cant wait to rush the SJU field with the Ole faithful on Sat....

Prediction: I'll take the averages and SJU wins 50-15.

If we are going by averages, looks like the oles may have started an average of winning every three years... 2001, 2004, 2007??   Its time.

Dude, you can't "start" an average at some indiscriminate point in time! Averages, by definition, take into account as much data as possible. So yes, KR's average is just as ridiculous as yours. And hell, I'll throw in one of my own: STO's average boasting per MIAC title is the highest in the conference.

Ok, I'm done with the school comments. Back to football. DUDE, TheStOlafFootballOles did exactly what KR did. He took averages from a specific starting point. KR took data from 2005 and 2006 to get his 50-15 prediction so why can TheStOlafFootballOles use his theory too? If one guess is good enough then both should be.

That is how you use stats to your advantage.

Is the shovel pass that play that coaches use to increase the QB completion percentage?  Or is it the play used by teams to run the football when they do not have a running game?

Which is why I said his average was just as ridiculous and made up some ridiculous average of my own.
Nice day, huh?

Great find.

Hmm...did you check their math?
Trinity: 0.85135135135
SJU: 0.85093167702

Still higher, yes, but it seems they don't teach rounding in Texas :)

Fun [poorly-]hidden stat: Same number of playoff seasons as #3, but 11 fewer wins.

p.s. Baby Biggins you and your cronies should put down the  RPG's (role playing games not rocket propelled grenades) and get outside to excercise and get sunlight as I wasn't even mad, that was impressive...ly gross!

So since July I have lost 54 pounds. Thanks for the encouragement. Hope you have Fat Children

Yes & Yes. The shovel pass works dandy for either. ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

They changed a ton of curriculum since I left Texas.  I just had to laugh at Club Med College's stats.

Here is to the Norwegian love!

Oles move to 14th in coaches poll.

That poll is way off, IMHO.  SJU does not deserve to be 3rd.  LaCrosse darn near beats what most informed D3 followers would rank 2nd (this poll has them at 5) and they are ranked 12th.

That said, the only poll that matters is the one published after December 15.

Nice work on the weight loss!! However, God willing I will have athletic kids who dominate life much like their father ;)
I like to picture my Jesus singing lead vocals for Lynard Skynard with like a band of Angels behind him, and I'm in the front row HAMMERED drunk!!!
