Wonka just made a move and won't have the internet at home until well after GAC plays Bethel and SJU. Considering last weekend's spanking, this might not be such a bad thing.

However, he has stumbled across some rather disturbing news about his favorite fantasy football player, Travis Henry (owned in 4 of my 5 leagues). First, the old stuff that I may have already posted. If not, enjoy.

"The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported over the weekend that court documents in a Georgia child support case show Henry, 28, has fathered nine children by nine women in four southern states and has been ordered to pay child support for seven of them."

He's now being charged with a third time violating the Mary Jane law of the NFL, which results in a mandatory 1-year ban from the league. However, he's filing countercharges stating that the NFL unfairly tested him without his own representative being present, which may get him off on a technicality. Good planning, huh?

PS - Did anyone else see Big Papi talking in the third person? Papi do dis, Papi do dat...love it!

Gee Wonka, maybe the Bronc's can get Ricky Williams since he filed for reinstatement and your leagues will allow you him as a replacement.  Shanahan must be pulling his hair out by now.  Also, hope you are only signing a one year lease as you may need the same excuse next year at this time  ;)

I might be able to stop up for my first ever Stiftungsfestivities on Saturday morning for a little while with Hamm's/Gluek's/Premo/(insert own choice here) in hand of course.  With stiffyfest growing in popularity I was curious if an RSVP would be in order?

I recall talking to you at St. Thomas last year.  I think that was an "unofficial visit."  That would make this your first official attendance.

No RSVP required.  Bring something to drink and something to share.  You don't have to bring something to share, it just means you should put a little more green in the collection jar.

83, windy and isolated T-storms on Saturday in Collegeville as it looks right now. Running game and D may be more of a factor then we were thinking.

... but I'm open to requests. 8)

Well, not for me of course,  ;) but I think you owe it to your west coast entourage to treat them to a bit of Old Johnnie Ale.

No kidding - seven this weekend and five for Family Weekend. :o  Do they sell OJA at Westside?

Both KR and 105 giving me +K in the same day?  I predict a SJU win and I'm in good graces?  That was almost as easy as a Tommie  ::)

Bennie, retagent,

So I'm looking for a little Ole fb video on the web and came up dry. But this might ease a little bit of the pain for the Gusties after their gridiron defeat last weekend. Note the two-handed hack by the Gustie on the replay ...

p.s. that was my first anti tommie comment/joke.  I feel kind of dirty.  I guess it is because it had to do with a girl from St. Thomas...

ROR, thats right I had forgotten a few of us came out before the game to chat.  I guess that just shows all the mental preparation that goes into beating the tommies :)

Are the Ole posters running out of steam, or starting to get worried about swallowing their humble pie?  Getting awfully quiet after a robust couple of days.

My quietness can be attributed to my love of beating the crap out of choir kids in IM's, not my "concern" about a slice of humble pie.

I should probably get started on my paper that's due at 9 a.m. tomorrow though.

That is a lame excuse

Surely at one of the greatest learning institutes in the free world, papers that are due in the morning aren't started the night before?  I can see this happening at St John's, but never, ever in Northfield.  But best of luck with the choir kids.  And as Graham Nash once sang, "Humble Pie is always hard to swallow with your pride."

I've loved that album for more than a couple of years, that quote always struck me and now I was able to share it.  (Do you think that world renowned Ole choir can learn it by Saturday)?  If I ever get to karma level, one or two to you :)
