Duff,

Your mention of Dusty and the UnderArmour brought back something that I was meaning to post earlier this week.  Last Sunday as I took my usual spot in the back pew of church with my family, one the regulars at church walks in with a cold gear UA mock....my first thought was Dusty and all the heat he takes for wearing UA with a 45+ year old figure.  I promised my wife that I would never wear UA to church at that moment 8)

I will also confirm what others have mentioned about young kids and football games.  Earlier this year our son (3 1/2) informs me that he would like to go to the Grizzly game.  My wife and daughter go to the mall shopping.  After watching the skydivers come into the stadium, the mascot come out on a Harley and the opening kickoff--- he declares it is time to go.  I was able to convince him to stay until halftime, at which time I did the kid switch with my wife and brought by 7 1/2 year old daughter back to the game.  The only problem with that was she was more interested in the concession stand than the game.......Oh, how I miss the peace and sanity of the sidelines ;)

I've actually sported the UnderArmour on two occassions however the first time was for "409 and it was so damn cold out you needed to make it the Palestra to enjoy the view...   I've learned my lesson and will confine my 46 year old frame to cargo shorts and a polo this weekend.

I'd also like to take this time to officially thank the A-Man for sending me a complimentary and personally signed copy of his new book "Saturday Rules". Thanks TDT for your book review.  ;D

kubiack, are you about twelve hours ahead of Minnesota time?  I remember during standard time that Kuwait was twelve ahead of Alaska time.
Everyday is payday in paradise.

Was perusing Johnniefootball.com (hey-how come you guys never mentioned this site?  ;D) Were there no Oles willing to step up and write the "view from St. Olaf" column?

Ha, I'm sure we'd be able to find someone willing to venture out on a limb and give their thoughts on the Oles--you've been reading the board this week, haven't you?

The fact of the matter is I've been ridiculously busy and it's a feature that usually runs Friday evenings anways.  Keep your eyes open, there's something in the works.  (And to be honest, I really didn't know if anyone even read those!)

TC,
Pretty sure after last week you will be buying me a case of Newcastle at season's end.

Wow, busy day on the old board so far. A guy has to put in an honest half a day's work, and he misses 5 pages of posts. :o

I will be present and totally unaccounted for tomorrow. Presence of FinsGF depends upon the mood du jour. ???

Veek- The koolaid flavor tomorrow will again be Margarita X 2, since it's homecoming. 8)

I still haven't decided what to wear.... :-\
