Has anybody heard if Blackmore is playing tomorrow to round out the "3 headed monster"? I sure hope if  Alex is shakey tomorrow that they stick with the run instead of waiting till the 4th and go "Oh, the run was working, maybe we should try that instead of passing." Oh and Monkeystomp. Just had to throw that out. ::)

Wahoo, nice piece on www.johnniefootball.com.

Just one question.  Did you ever take geography?   ;D

Indeed, very nice write-up, Wahoo. You Oles really are smart.  ;)

Was just enjoying the first 2 pre-game Hammbones watching the Tribe beat the Yanks in 11 innings. Fall baseball is awesome.

Spoke with Fins, Jr. earlier today. He was oot and aboot campus today placing some "Welcome" signs for all of us. He said there's already an RV in the lot-been there since yesterday, so people are already staking out their turf. And he said there's a Facebook group just about tailgating on which there has been much talk about the Stiftungsfestivities where you can go and eat for free.
So students-we were poor students, too, before we became poor grown-ups, come and fill your bellies. (Grown-ups: bring food!)

Nice job Wahoo.  Your thoughts accurate and articulate.

In response to OzJohnny93 I have decided to remove the jokes since they apparently are not that funny to him.  If anyone would like to read them you can message me, and I will consider sending them to you.

I would also like to suggest that I was not trying to take a moral high road, but expressing a personal thought.  The internet message boards are not places for moral stances since it is next impossible express feeling.  I will not resort to calling people names as is the preferred method amongst some posters.

I will be up near Osseo tomorrow working, and I know the Olaf station will not be available.  If someone could send me the Johnnies radio frequency I would appreciate it.

Sweet dreams for Johnnies, nightmares for Oles - none at all for us as we're still 3 and a half hours from take-off.  But we'll be there soon for the festivities, hopefully with som OJA. 8)  Safe trips all.

Here's hoping at SJU plays a good game tomorrow and gives me something to cheer about, as opposed to the Cubs who look like they all took Alex Kofoed inconsistency classes.

Hey SJU56321...did you not get my message earlier this week?  Please leave AK11 alone...and go cheer for the Tommies.  I think its been documented how good a QB he is, no matter how many shots you take at him...

Oh by the way...I could use some karma love from my fellow Johnnies fans

To answer the question on Blackmore...he is good to go and will see some time tomorrow...Most everyone is healthy and I am sure after last weekends stuggle with the Knights, "focused"

I realize stats are for losers, but I found it interesting that the second leading tackler is a cb for the Oles, could be a sign of teams throwing alot when they are behind or that the D is not as stout as they would have all believe...also none of the D lineman are in the top 7 or so in tackles, the LBs are in the top five...but that tells me that you can move the line and therefore gain ground...watch the improving o line of Coach Mader get'er done tomorrow...yea it might not be the most exciting way to attack but it could prove to be the most effective...

I realized right after I submitted it that I screwed up on the sideline references. Thanks for the opportunity to contribute to the site.

Disclaimer:  What you just read is a joke.

[ed: I've edited out the jokes since they have been taken out above - and with that, I force myself to let go.]

I know I'm the resident "can't let an issue ever go" guy, but wtf was that?  I read the "Jay Leno" riff twice just to make sure I wasn't being an obtuse nut, but Jay would have surely bombed with that as well.   Where is the joke?  How inside to the STO program do you have to be to recognize why those lines had punch?

On to the second monstrously unfunny attempt at an (un)original joke followed by a claim to moral high ground?  We are no longer 14...

I'll fix your direction issues. Just a minute....and there. You now appear as though you earned that STO degree ;)

And thank you for the well-written piece. We do appreciate it.
Nice day, huh?

Um, yeah... since my name is in the byline I guess that's kinda my fault as editor.  Sorry, WAHOO.

I would have edited the piece down to...

I think the Ole's will win.

Would have saved 10 minutes of reading to get to a wrong prediction.
