Today's weather looks fine in Collegeville, no rain, a few clouds, 70 degree weather and a Homecoming victory for the J's.

Some things never change.

Wahoo, nice piece on www.johnniefootball.com.

Just one question.  Did you ever take geography?   ;D

I realized right after I submitted it that I screwed up on the sideline references. Thanks for the opportunity to contribute to the site.

Wahoo, again, thanks for the effort.  Looking forward to meeting you today at the tailgate.  As stated earlier, your editor should have caught that.   ;D  I'm going to suggest to the publisher that he get a pay cut.   :D

Should be another great day in Collegeville.  Hoping for a great game and no injuries.

VOJ-I think we need to meet at a festivities and speak in person. Don't ever ask me to cheer for the Tommies. I hope Kofoed plays a great game today-but I also know he has been inconsistent throughout his career and maybe he has great number-been playing for four years-but that doesn't change the facts. But if he has a solid game today-I will refrain-or really try to-from negative comments in the future. There, happy? ;D

I will be up near Osseo tomorrow working, and I know the Olaf station will not be available.  If someone could send me the Johnnies radio frequency I would appreciate it.

I live in in nearby Maple Grove and get the Johnnie games on 1330 AM.  Try that.  You will probably find it a good listening experience.  Maybe you will be converted...  ;)

Looking forward to the game today.  Should be a good one, but I thought that back in 2005 as well.  Johnnies 35 Oles 27

Here is an expose' on the real St. Olaf...Enjoy

Disclaimer:  What you just read is a joke.

[ed: I've edited out the jokes since they have been taken out above - and with that, I force myself to let go.]

I know I'm the resident "can't let an issue ever go" guy, but wtf was that?  I read the "Jay Leno" riff twice just to make sure I wasn't being an obtuse nut, but Jay would have surely bombed with that as well.   Where is the joke?  How inside to the STO program do you have to be to recognize why those lines had punch?

On to the second monstrously unfunny attempt at an (un)original joke followed by a claim to moral high ground?  We are no longer 14...

OzJohnny, I am darn near as close as you can get to 'inside' the Oles while and I 1) Didn't get all of the 'jokes' and 2) Didn't think it was funny at all either. I don't think OleFan even has a clue where he is right now.

Texas high school football will do that to you.  Just look at Billy Bob from Varsity Blues.

I'll be leaving the Grove at about 9:15, so I should be in a Festive mood by about 10:15 or so.  Weather.com shows a hot and humid day at the Natural Bowl--the Florwegians should feel right at home.  (Or will they be wearing long sleeves with the high only being @80?)

Just spoke with Veek live from the Stiftungsfestivities a few moments ago as I slumbered away in my bed the cell phone rang for the first time today.  He said it was drizzling/raining a little bit and he hoped the weather would clear up soon.  I am in charge of reeling ZIP in today and keeping order on the MIACPP.  That should be easy enough  ::) ::)

TC-what is with that pick? I am Mr. negative-but I would never pick against SJU-unless it was agianst Mount in Ohio-I think your membership in Johnniefootball.com needs to be reviewed. :)

Yeah, but you've been pretty irrational lately.  I may have picked St. Olaf by 2, but I certainly will be pulling for a Johnnie Stomp.

This uneven, up-and-down act the Johnnies have been pulling this year certainly doesn't give the impression of a team that will go 10-0 in the regular season and if they don't get beat today they won't lose an MIAC game.  I really hope I'm wrong, though.

Although I will blow my own horn and say that I predicted the highest score and highest margin for the Concordia game and the lowest score and narrowest margin for the Carleton game.

Sorry TDT, it is not.

So, you and bennie hangin' out today. No 57Johnnie, he's eating a stiffy burger right now.  :)

Bob,

Did Joe say anything earth shattering?  Please advise.  BOL at Jason and Stoutguy saying the Lambeau crowd will blow a collective .20 tomorrow night.  Nothing could be truer.  Hope Hwy 29 has been cleaned up by the Hazard Waste MGMT Division of Wiscy...

RE: Stiftungsfestivities

Just got done speaking with OAS, he will be making the trip to the Catdome for the big Linfield v. Pacific Lutheran U on the 20th.  He also had a pretty SHOCKING lingering rumor.  This offseason should be very very interesting...
