What the Hell is illegal batting Frank?  You sounded confused while describing it...

Bethel ran the option, pitched it bad and rolled towards the sidelines.  Gustie player intentionally batted it, keeping the ball from going out of bounds.  A gustie player picked it up and ran for a td.  Refs convened for a couple minutes, the play resulted in Bethel keeping the ball, and a 15 yard penalty from the spot of the illegal bat which gave them first and ten from the gac 11 yard line.
