Willy Wonka

Rather than continuing the name calling, how about we keep this simple, since this has apparently turned into a court of law where rumors cannot be posted for verification/debunking.

Did Horace Gant practice every day in preparation for the SJU game? If not, for what reason was he not suited up?

Hopefully we can find an honest Ole out there somewhere...
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Looks like ROR wasn't the only star shooter at SJU. Thanks, Brice and here's more from the Strib ...

they are nice, but ROR's are better ;D

Yeah, I like ROR's better too, but I bet he's got lens envy ... :)

Size does matter, right, ROR?

MAJOR lens envy.  I talked to that guy yesterday on the field.  He was toting at least $20k worth of gear around.  He also looked like he really knew what he was doing.  His pictures prove that I was right on that count.

I will freely admit he takes better pictures.  I think I provide more viewing enjoyment.

That said, I better stay off here so I can get my pictures posted at the number 1 D3 fan site.

THE HAMMER

Here's honest and simple. Unless you're A) his parents B) Coach Meidt or C) a STO Dean, it's not any business of yours what has or hasn't occurred off the field nor any consequences that follow. If I am wrong in being upset about potentially harmful rumors of this nature being spread on this site, someone please let me know and I won't make a big deal out of anything like this ever again. If I am right, can we just drop it already?

Touchdown Tommy

This guy in purple repulses me...

and the lucky pink shirt continues its streak (note shameless Hamm's advertisement)...

Is this 57Johnnie and his bride??

Who is this clown with the GB Packers hat and Bob and Steve's Mug??

This one looks to me like Veek just got done scolding TC for his game prediction...

CC to DustySJU: Someone was trying to "pick up" the Earth Mother...

Nice to see Carbo's "sinus infection" subsided this week...

Speaking of great shots, Tony Bottini's stuff over at St. Olaf's site had some good stuff (http://www.sartellsabresports.com/St._Olaf_Football_2007/Oles_Photo_Albums/Oles_Photo_Albums.html).

Those were great.  And the Mac lays them out nicely as well.

What a beautiful day and the stands looked really good being so full.  I love wide angle shots that show the grassy hill full of people.  Really makes me miss being at the games...  I gotta arrange a visit back home during football season one of these years.

It was a heck of a game today.  Congrats to the Johnnies on a hard-fought win.  The Oles need to keep their heads up and get ready for the cobbers now.  As far as I can tell, they win out and their in, especially with Wartburg losing.
I was impressed with the Johnnie red zone defense today.  They held the Oles to FG's on a few drives which was huge for them. The Ole O-line played out of their minds.  I was impressed.
As for the end-game "personal foul" (it was ABSOLUTELY unintentional), it was the right call... It was a horrendously disappointing way to end the game, and made the game completely anti-climactic... but it was the right call.

Pat, what do you think will happen to the Oles and Johnnies in the rankings after today's game?

I would hope St. Olaf moves up a little bit and St. John's doesn't move.

WW -- as a journalist yourself I think you understand why this conversation makes me nervous. You have no proof and have offered no sources that I've seen. (I've read your first post and most recent post so far.)

Terms of Service dictate this is a non-story without published backup. I'm going to stand behind them now and ask that we not speculate without some corroboration.

I do have some high level experience with photography.  As I spent more time watching the growth of digital photography and seeing the internet revolutionize media I have become a skeptic of photographs posted online.  I have seen plenty of doctored photographs, and the worst part is some of them have been published in newspapers.  Again, I was not at the game so I have to make assumptions.

Yikes Ole dude, you are even worse than I had previously suspected.   Nothing bad for your precious.

I find it disappointing that your assumption is for the worse.  What happened to Minnesota Nice down at STO?  And do you honestly think someone would take the time to doctor a face mask penalty?

It's the crazy SJU Photoshop skillz at work!1!!1!!

Hugh Hefner started it all when he air-brushed the centerfolds.  I saw some at the game.  They were wearing Johnnie jerseys, but I knew their intentions were suspect.

After reviewing the pictures, I'm convinced AK was doing an acting job just to get the call.
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

LAB, great to see Augsburg pull the gigantic upset in Waverly.  Who had the biggest upset this weekend, Augsburg, Heidelberg, or Stanford(-burg)?

TC - I'm still waiting for a thank-you from all of the Ole fans on the Augsburg win yesterday!
