Prediction time!

GO COBBERS!

Cobber - Were you predicting the 1st half score?

Wouldn't it be better for STO to win-then SJU's win looks that much better-over a ranked team.

OzJohnnie

Talk about an Ole ghost town around here if the Cobbers win and the Ole post-season is up in smoke.  So must for STO showing the Auggies that they appreciate the big win last week.

In all seriousness-for you guys that thought the game would be close-what happend-did you over-estimate GAC-or did SJU play better than expected?

I thought that Gusties would play their game of the year--it's pretty easy to get up for the Johnnies on Homecoming at your new stadium when you see your season slipping away.

I also thought the Gusties were turning a corner this season after ending last year so well and starting this year with 3 straight wins.

Finally, whether you want to put it on Kofoed or not (not a shot at you, necessarily) the Johnnies have looked pretty bad on the road.

I thought it all added up to a relatively close game.

23 yard catch for Vanderheyden.

Only 2 first downs thus far for the Gusties.

Yes, but I just am not a big Ole fan...I think the coaches just might have something to do with it.

Kofoed sacked for a 12 yard loss.

This is the problem with a scrambling QB-- while the scramble gets you yards-- it can also lose you yards.

TC-thank you for the response-I was wonder if GAC would come out fired up-but a great game plan by SJU seemed to take away any momentum.

Gophers up 35-28.  Gopher ball with 3:30 left to play

2:20 left to go, 3rd and 13 from the Gustie 27 yard line.

Who knows, maybe the defenses will come out of the locker room for the second half.
