I found some Ole/Cobber Highlights on youtube.  Though I don't know if you could really call them highlights.  It also has bonus coverage of a USA chant by the ole fans and some mildly annoying flag running by the cobber fans.

AO,

Did you happen to check out the choir video?

I suppose I should probably purchase some Rockies memorabilia this weekend when I am in Denver/Boulder for parents' weekend at the University of Colorado with my "little girl." I know it will be tough to miss the Johnnie-Piper game in St. Paul. Hopefully the Colorado-Kansas game will be a great game to be at. I have already been given the directive from my daughter that I cannot wear anything red to the game. Have to go with black or yellow. :o

Which begs the question Mr. Godfather, do you therefore also attend Parents' Weekend at UST?  :o :o :o

I only caught portions of last nights NHL schedule. The Sabre/Leaf game was a beaut. I agree about the Leafs scoring on themselves. I do root for Johnny Pohl to do well though. I only hope I can stay awake long enough to watch the first two periods, at least, of the Wild tonight.

Tonight was a scheduled off night in the NLCS.
If you ask the Rockies, the next 7 nights were as well  ;D

+K now and for the rest of your life for the Najeh Davenport. Long live the NFL's favorite closet crapper!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Is Mary McCarthy from the story at all related to current Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy?  That must be why Davenport is now on the Steelers...

My fellow d3.com posters...This is for all football fans at every level...We need some grass roots help here to change the minds of the status quo elite to "right a wrong" by signing an on-line petition...If you know the story great...If not, the book has now been published...The movie script has been finalized...A Director is on-board and a Studio will be named very soon...Another Seabiscuit perhaps?...You heard it here first...Go to espn.com's page 2, scroll down to Tony Latone to click on the link to sign the petition....Also pick up a copy of the book...If you played the game, are a real fan or both, you won't be able to put it down until you complete it!...Simba

Has anyone seen this?  Possibly the worst case of acting since Keanu Reeves in the movie Speed.

Celtic vs. AC Milan

My favorite part is the 2 minutes of in-depth analysis on the "touch."

Any news on the injuries the Johnnie's suffered at GAC?

Saladin and Schumacher helped off the field.

Diamond?

Primus?

Others?

I'll hang up and listen.

From Frank Rajkowski's blog at the SCTimes:

Another gloomy, gray and rainy day in Central Minnesota. During practice today at Clemens Stadium, the defense came indoors when rain started falling. The offense took a vote and remained outside.

OT Ben Dimond was back in practice today. Guard Jason Primus and wide receiver Chace Pollock sat out to rest various ailments. TE Brett Saladin also did not practice due to a knee injury. DE Michael Schumacher practiced early on before taking the rest of the practice off.

A couple things:

  • Looks like the O is preparing for sloppy conditions - good to see.
  • All the injuries look like "need rest" types, not "miss games" types

I find Frank's blog pretty informative and check it out most days.

I think it's going to be the Tribe v the Rock.

I don't think it helps the Rockies to sit around for a week given how unbelievably hot they have been.

And, the last time the Red Sox were in this situation they reeled off 7 straight to win the ALCS and then the World Series.

We'll see..... 8)
