I got a little inside info from a Tommie intern we had this summer.  Click on it to see it bigger.  Pretty lame, if you ask me.

Gotta laugh...that's a pretty good shirt!

Creative, but too much text!  Gotta get the message out there quick!

SJU has no current ones, but due to insufficient data, may have had one come to an end against Carleton last season ...

1992 70-7 SJU
1993 62-14 SJU
1994 63-20 SJU
1995 35-14 SJU
1996 64-7 SJU

Looks like a Perfect DecaStomp to me.

Where'd you find those? Are there scores for the other schools that I can add to my grid and avoid more work?
Nice day, huh?

Shoes- I wish I could give you some karma for that!  I am in full support of getting paid to do PP homework, and to color code it too that almost makes the 3-peat Stomping of my Gusties less painful.

Actually it doesn't help the pain but that is impressive :-\

Thanks, 'bake. Digging up those scores made me wish there was a searchable database of this stuff. Hm, maybe Pat should add a gigantohugeamungus searchable DB of scores to D3F. That'd be sweet.
Nice day, huh?

OK, I'm super bored at work right now and did a little research on the DecaStomps. SJU has no four current ones and St. Thomas will make five. We have no current Perfect DecaStomps, but due to insufficient data, may have had one come to an end against Carleton last season and against Macalester when they dropped out of the MIAC. Augsburg can turn Perfect DecaStomp next season while Hamline will take two more. Here's a grid:

Pardon the self-quoting and three-straight posts. I just realized I had my terminology wrong. Corrected above.

Rumor has it that some Tommie students had been marketing a shirt that went way beyond even my usual lax standards of taste.  :-[

Not that I'm endorsing that sort of thing, no... but it would be nice to find out what this rumored shirt had printed.  Could be pretty witty.  Maybe they outsourced the creativity.  Or it could just be rude since they kept the thinking in-house.

Look at the big brains on Duff! ;)  I was trying to Gretzky one there (slip one past the goalie for our friends at the Tech School)!
I like to picture my Jesus singing lead vocals for Lynard Skynard with like a band of Angels behind him, and I'm in the front row HAMMERED drunk!!!

I have absolutely no idea why your messages took so long to show up. They're time-stamped for 11:57 and 12:21, but I just got 'em a few minutes ago.

I just plugged in after my trip through BDB land where I dined on the finest Philly Cheese Steak sandwich this side of Philadeplhia(Ciciones in Eau Claire) and stopped in Menommonie to visit the erstwhile BDB whose pizza cook said was moving.

My Verizon card has yet to arrive.  ???

One of the worst bits of being in Oz in relation to this board is that I usually have 4 or five pages of posts to wade through before I catch up.  Upon catching up, I find that my post I did in response to something three pages ago has been answered.

Anyway, I say they in-sourced it.

Oh-just think-once Kilted is done with his assignment from the armed services, he could teach at the new med school. That would be something. :o

KR would have to comment on this but if my understanding is correct a Dr has to take more courses to teach medicine than just to practice it.  But that would be a funny site.  I don't know how this week would go.  KR collecting a paycheck from the Tommies and slamming them at the same time. ;D

It doesn't take any more courses to teach it than to practice it. Anyone with a PhD, DO, or MD can teach medical schools. In fact, the common thought in medicine is "if you can't make it in practice, you can always go back and teach!"
Based on some of my instructors compared to clinicians I have worked with, I think this could very well be true!

As far as me working for that school in St. Paul, not gonna happen... unless they pay me $350,000+ a year, 4 weeks vacation, monday-friday 9-5 with the entire week before Tommie-Johnnie game off and a reserved parking spot in the O"Shaughnessy stadium big enough to park a Pace Arrow along with food, beer, and red cups for 100 of my closest Johnnie bretheren!

Esq has a great story behind that one! Would you mind sharing it with the newbies and those unfamiliar with it?

I don't get it with the money. SJU gets money and they build a concrete monstrosity on the formerly most beautiful and scenic body of water in 100 miles. UST gets money and they are gonna build a med school that could someday help the people of Minnesota... ???
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

I usually save it for the Bethel week, since lore has them involved in it as well.  But perhaps I will tell it next week instead, as we have two weeks to gear up for the Royals, and next week will likely be slow around here anyway.
