P.S. tommi, do explain why your school is so good at baseball. Sticks, balls, cups...uh huh.
Nice day, huh?

I can't decide if tommi is ROR, TDT, or Fins. So far I'm leaning towards Fins.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I was referring to your description, not the score because even an optimist would think that is a little high for the purple wearers and a little low for the Koolaid drinkers.
I like to picture my Jesus singing lead vocals for Lynard Skynard with like a band of Angels behind him, and I'm in the front row HAMMERED drunk!!!

tommi

as a st thomas baseball player, i'm not sure what makes us so good at baseball, probably talent, but i do fondly remember ending st john's season last year... 18-8, in a baseball version of a "monkey stomp"

Only if Fins has had a drastic makeover....here's tommi...

Based on the frequent use of ellipses... I'm going for retagent.  A frequent stirrer.

On the other hand, there needs to be a bit of subterfuge regarding IP so that the PP overlords don't catch you.  Universities normally assign IP addresses dynamically and you pick up a new one every time you log out/in.  Dial-ip ISPs do the same, but most folks are on permanent broadband now days and can't bother to reboot their modem or router.

So, who ever it is, they are obviously too smart to be a Tommie in the first place.  must be at real pains to write like a like a tommie... best to use all lowercase...  makes you seem stupider...

edit: well so much for all that reckoning...

That's what I like about Flash - wry incisive wit - and sometime even sober.  +k

Looks like an English prep school uniform or perhaps a Harry Potter casting shot. :P

Just had a quick look at the Tommie's game notes.  This pitiful excuse struck me:

Quote
--TOUGH SCHEDULE: In Coach Don Roney's era, St. Thomas has played one of Division III more challenging non-conference schedules. The Toms have had 14 games vs. Division II Bemidji State or strong Division III programs Central, St. Norbert, UW-Stout, Coe and Loras. The Toms are 2-12 in those games, but eight of the 12 losses are by a combined 51 points... In 2008 and 2009, the Tommies will play local teams Macalester (first game) and Northwestern (last game) to replace Central and Loras.

Two points stuck out for me:

1. No mention of the toughest team on their schedule...

2. But don't worry folks, we're scheduling easy beats for the next couple years because we no longer back ourselves.  Nice.
