57,

See my reply above to Fins and Fury....I was on the field that day at CST.
I wasn't arguing, just pointing out where I got my wrong information.  :-\

57,

I didn't think you were arguing, just wanted to help clarify :) :)

It was not one of my favorite days

Highlight of that St. Thomas video is the 4:55 mark when Roney's voiceover says "I've won in everything I've ever done."
:D ;D

Nice day, huh?

Shoes,

Obviously he has never been in a "Shotgunning Competition" with Duff ;) ;)  Kindly forgot about that 0-9 record against SJU as well.......

Great articles by all the contributors on johnniefootball.com.

Fins, calling St. Thomas "Gopher Lite" is hilarious.  :D

Dusty, I'm so glad we will have the new sound system going tomorrow at the Stiftungsfestivities. Hopefully the Paris Hilton, Coldplay, David Gray and U2 music will be able to be heard at the tailgate and all the way to Avon. ;)

Fins and Fury,

I can attest to the 92 game being played at CST :-[ :-[

Probably one of the worst SJU performances on record.....one of our TDs was scored by none other than SamWill 47 on special teams :o :o

The win kept their HC Vic Wallace's job safe for a couple years.

In my research this week I found the following USTd Football video that may be of some interest to my fellow SJU posters....some good bulletin board material, especially Ryan Jensen's comments at the 4 minute mark about possibly going to SJU ??? ???  You will also note (if you watch the whole tape) that only two highlights came from games with SJU, both on defense 8) 8)

I love it--in their recruiting video, one of the players mentions going to St. John's by name.

Just further proof that EVERY WEEK IS JOHNNIE WEEK.

The main reason I went to St. John's rather than St. Thomas -------
I visited both places.  :D

JoBoo---That was the game after Poulin's injury and Ted Nett (D-Lineman) was the kicker. 0-2 on extra points, and I believe a missed field goal....Last play of the game was a catch by Chris Palmer, too bad it was 5 yards out of the end zone.

Looks like Ryan had to got back to Floyd the Barber in Foley for that big-city bowl cut before the video shoot ...

Apparently the tech-savvy Tommies left this page up when they moved to tommiesports.com.

But the old page is still what Google spits out (insert Tommie girl joke here) if you search for "st. thomas football"

I like the end, "have a little Tommie, Pride, rub off on you".

Who is this Tommie girl named "Pride" they speak of??   ::)

I Googled "Tommie Girl" and here is her picture from her My Space page.  :P

A lot of what Google brought up was from KR's posts on this site.  :D
