Looks like the big matchups in D3 might not be so great:

Mount up 14-0

UWW up 14-0

Tommies sound like they are taking a page out of Hamline's book and spreading it out, and picking on the Johnnie LBs.  And it appears to be working...
Hopefully they can fix the problem like they did last week too.

The thing is they really didn't fix it last week.

WEBER TD!
I didn't see Hamine do anything after their ill-fated second drive.

Thanks!

+K to all for the update and to carry the J's to victory while I'm at work.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

Esq,

Just a question (not a challenge) what did they leave unfixed last week on defense?  Did Hamline change what they were doing?

Seton41

Nice hold by the D, bad punt...let the stomp begin.

There seemed to be a few second/third and 4s that the Jays could clamp down on last week-- but they didn't exactly move the ball.

Good 3 and out by the defense there.

Hamline literally was forcing the ILBs to make plays.  In the spread, they have numbers at the line of scrimmage, then use a little misdirection to cause the LB to flow away from the ball.  The Jays apparently seemed to slant one way on the DL to force double teams and keep the OL off the ILBs, but the ILBs still seemed slow (relative to previous Johnnie LBs) to get to the ball.

How do you beat the spread defensively?  Various ways-- but UST seemed to come out exactly like Hamline did and marched right through us.  Maybe the kids didn't execute-- it's tough to tell when you can't see it!

Backes just admitted he wasn't a very smart coach :P :P What was the career record at SJP?  I think his prediction today was 21-6......maybe he meant at the end of the 1st.

Thanks Esq

If we're going to score 80, we need to get the ball back more quickly than this...C'mon D!

WHEW....big fumble recovery.... Johnnies create a turnover, but it sounds like CAsey would have been in the endzone otherwise.
