Days go by much faster when you sleep till 11am, then surf the net for a half an hour, then go to a pizza buffet and then go to a matinee showing of American Gangster.

That reminds me of one of my favorite movie lines - from Jackie Brown.  Samuel L Jackson's character, Ordell Robbie, walks into the living room to see Bridget Fonda's character, Melanie, lying on the couch sucking a bong.  Ordell says, "You getting high already?  That sh*t will rob you of your ambition."  Melanie responds, "Not if your ambition is to lie around getting high."

Don't need a real job if you got ambition.

Does Kofoed still play for your johnies??  I wondered if he would come back and play this year after what Kleppe did to him at the Perk last year!!  But seriously, UWW-SJU would be another great battle again (assuming both teams take care of business till that pt.)  What's the scouting report on the johnies?  Looks like you've had a few close games.

Johnnies are pushovers this year.  Shocking bad.  Just go ahead and look past them to the Stagg, just as you are overlooking everyone between here and the J's.

But, now that you brought my name up-isn't this the biggest game for Kofoed so far, his last chance at Bethel and a MIAC championship outright. I gotta tell you, TC, I would like nothing better than to put Kofoed in the class of Keating, Linneman, Seiler, Mayhew, seniors who took their team to the NCAA semi-finals and two who took their team to the championship game.

I really have no feel for tomorrows game.  My gut tells me St. John's finds a way to pull it out, although there is probably more incentive for Bethel as they need a win to guarantee a  playoff berth, while SJU is probably in no matter what.   SJU 31 - Bethel 27  after Bethel jumps to a 14-0 lead. .................

I think the sting of last year will prevent a surprise victory from Bethel this year (or any kind of victory for that matter).  I think we'll see a game of crisp Johnnie execution similar to what we saw for the big threat game earlier this year - Concordia.

Ritz - thanks for offering to pick up the wild rice sausages for tomorrow.  Also, I mentioned your Blumpkin story to our poker buddies last night who thought it was hilarious.

I obviously wish I could be there and I will certainly be listening to the broadcast.  SJU will come away victorious.  After two weeks of preparation and last year's game in their minds I have no doubt that another MIAC title will be ours in just over 24 hours.
