JR - "Your Honor",
I had the pleasure of attending a reception at 1006 Summit yesterday evening, hosted by the First Lady.  I managed to gain her attention for a moment and asked her to thank her hubby for prolaiming today as "SJU Day".  I said it was especially impressive given the impending titanic tilt tomorrow in Arden Hills.  She stared at me and said, "did that spouse of mine issue a proclamation
extolling the virtues of SJU on the eve of this epic adventure?"  I assured her it was simply a coincidence!!!

Looking forward to a supreme effort from the Johnnies tomorrow.  Duffman, Dusty, Veek, Esq. etal - looking forward to seeing you tomorrow.  Dr. Dirk may make a guest appearance in SoHo, but for sure at the game itself.

Go, Johnnies!!!

Corn Horn, I think you've sold me.  I don't think I could stand listening to the "Defense DEFENSE defense DEFENSE" cheer that the Bethel student section does. It is a great way of "not dancing" though.  However, 1) I have heard that dancing is now allowed at Bethel, and 2) the TALENT they've brought in for halftime entertainment is WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION!  Their dancing, at least at the dome for the Aug/Bethel tilt, nearly convinced me Bethel had changed their name TO brothel!  Rather suggestive!  I'm in NO WAY complaining, rather a little surprised they have been allowed to practice their moves on the Bethel campus.  So, though you may want to go and add more weight to your second half weight lifting total at half-time, take a peek at what Bethel has to offer, aside from chapel!

Will there be any Hamline posters at our game tomorrow?  If so, it was nice to meet all of the SJU (and GAC) supporters at the SJU/AUG game and it would be nice to meet you tomorrow.

Best of luck to all tomorrow.  Stay healthy, stay safe.
Out of order, I'll show you out of order! You don't know what out of order is, Mr Task! I'd show you but I'm too old, I'm too tired, and I'm too f----n blind. If I were the man I was 5 years ago, I'd take a FLAMETHROWER to this place. Out of order, who the hell do you think you're talking to?

ha. Yeah, dancing became allowed about 5 or 6 years ago when some of the older members of the board of trustees passed on, and with them, their votes against dancing.  Theres even several school sponsored dances every year.

It may also surprise the sarcasm crew that Northwestern had an official square dance this year.   ;D ;D  Northwestern has a new community covenant this year that gives faculty the privilege to drink and the students to dance.  Amazing.

Dancing at Bethel - I understand they're enthusiastic but still getting the hang of it.

"No, you're not WRONG. You're just an a$$hole!"

Tommy. I know I'm playing one day at Lely, and another at Eagle Lakes. A friend of mine has a house there, so he's pretty much in charge of the schedule.

Esq, will you be around tomorrow morning?

ROR, I feel like I don't need to ask but will you be attending?

The Good Lord willing.

Reading that article, I kept looking for some tip off that it was a joke or a web site made to look like the Startrombone.

Stupid is as stupid does.

There are Hamline posters? Me and Former Piper Mascot seem to have moved on from the Lead Pipe Pipers. I've seen two SJU games and zero Hamline games. It's a shorter drive from Hutch to Collegeville then it is to St. Paul. Plus I get kool-aid and some burgers at SJU games.

Corn Hole and LAB-
I'd pick SJU/BET if I didn't have to cover a section swim meet in Willmar. Then again, you'll be able to read about the big game in both city papers, on here and on www.johnniefootball.com (nice plug, huh?).

Enjoy the fun tomorrow wherever you are. It's another great day of MIAC football.

*%$@ it, let's go bowling.
