And I agree, Kofoed is a hack.

I'll third that.

Last game I picked to be close was Concordia, so let's hope this one turns out the same.

Looks like it'll be a wet one.  We've got drizzle at our house
Unless something new materializes in SW MN, it looks like we have this afternoon's showers this morning.  Oops, I almost forgot.  LETS GO JOHNNIES!!!!  :) ;D 8) :-*

You must be just waking up Duff. You don't normally leave yourself open like this.  ;D

Picking the upset is one thing. But 44-42?  ???

A poor UST team put up 35 on us...

Prove me wrong, Johnnies!

A tradition unrivaled...

Despite the debacle in Northfield last week, if there is one Johnnie wagon rider out there who would NOT like to see them put up 80+ points against Bethel, let him be heard ;)

After all, you'll only have your traveling team.

Bethel's a really dirty team and I'm worried about them taking shots at Gliadon late in the game.  I say the Johnnies go for two after a late touchdown puts them up 79-7.

Duff-you should know that having two weeks to prepare should be ample time to prevent that shotgun run and deep passes to the corners. I still say running a linebacker to Gunderson's side will free him up to make big plays.

A 1 pt win and no new injuries will be more than enough.  :)  LETS GO JOHNNIES!!!!  :) ;D 8) :-*

Corn horn - sorry for the name confusion.

So far on ESPN - game day at Williams (v Amherst) and a story on four brothers (one in each grade) from Linfield, who are on the field each Saturday with their dad, who is an assistant.

That gives us hope that Gameday comes to Collegeville.

As long as they don't pass on the 2-point conversion...

Let's take a look at the big games thus far this year:

Concordia--St. John's wins by 31, 52-21

I picked SJU by 24, 41-17.
You picked SJU by 8, 28-20.

St. Olaf--St. John's wins by 1, 30-29

I missed by a FG, picking St. Olaf to win 32-30
You picked SJU by 29, 38-9.

Bethel--St. John's wins by...?

I picked St. John's to win by 20, 34-14
You picked Bethel to win by 2, 44-42.

Let's just say I like our chances...

Hey, Thanks TC-I guess. :)
Go Johnnies!

You know I've got your back (even when I'm planning my attack).  Ha, that rhymed.

Forecast for Arden Hills, 30% chance of rain throughout the afternoon, high in the mid-40s, 100% chance of a Johnnie win.

The real Mr.Shoes will be to my place shortly. We'll pick up Brother Shoes on our way to Arden Hills. Dad's not to thrilled about tailgating in this weather, but he'll warm up once he has a burger and some Arth chili.

GO JOHNNIES!

P.S. Late to the party as usual, I added my prediction to the heap.
Nice day, huh?
