Respect comes from big wins in the playoffs sir.  Win on Saturday against a perennial D3 powerhouse and you'll get it (what a phenomenal opportunity for Redlands to put itself on the map, you couldn't ask for more).  Start to win the SCIAC each season and make deep runs in the Dance and the respect will come.  Right now, I think it is hard for the Johnnie posters to take Redlands too seriously considering their past success or lackthereof.

RFB: Will Redlands travel many fans/parents/alumni to the game?  What is the average home game attendance you guys have?  I seem to recall being pleasantly surprised at the numbers you fellas brought in 02.  Is my memory deceiving me?


Re: Johnnie Tailgate

Plans are in the works for the Polish King to bring 80 Polish and a dozen or so Italian Sausages.  I'll have the buns and some spiked Apple Cider.  Usually show up at 8am for a 1pm start during the season.  Thinking maybe 7am or 7:30am at the latest to allow for maximum tailgating time.  Brats and burgers for breakfast don't sound half bad.  Who is bringing the Jello shots?  Never saw Buckman on Saturday.  Raiderguy had the shots and they were much appreciated.  Jay is truly an honorary Johnnie just like Frank Rickard.  My sources also tell me that L. Bean a longtime lurker of the MIACPP will be receiving the top secret Finsleft Kool-Aid recipe sometime today and will be in charge of bringing this treat on Sat morning.  I'll save Veek the trouble and say Larry don't forget the limes and salt.

Others have said in the past that John doesn't like to have the games televised - so if you want to scout SJU you gotta show up and pay your $7!  I suspect he would probably give opposing coaches only audio of SJU games if he could.  In fact, has Maynard checked the "video" he received?  And does he know for sure it's the 2007 Johnnies?
