I guess she did show Duff who was boss that day. ;) ;D

It's a lot easier when you only drink 6 ounces.  Where was she at UWW when I dominated the 16oz Milwaukee's Beast Ice??? :D

I believe this is the proof regarding Mrs. ZIP.

I bet I have a vid of the UWW contest, too...

Thanks Shoes for showing the one shotgun competition that I ran away with after we weeded out the 4 oz beer that was consumed by Mrs. Zip.
Go Johnnies!!!

I am not sure if this has been brought up yet, but what does everyone think of UST's coach resigning yesterday?  Any guesses to who may replace him?
On a serious note, how about the coach from Cretin Derham Hall?  Might be able to get some of the studs they keep turning out there.

Are you kidding?  Pretty sure UST has a restriction on hiring "long-haired freaky people".  Mike Scanlon certainly fits that category.  Great coach, though...but I don't see him leaving for UST-- at least, not right now.

Shooter had reported about a year ago about something to the effect of "prominent alumni had advocated for Dave Nelson to take over the UST job".  I wouldn't be shocked if that is the case.

What about Paul Miller?  He would do very well with the resources UST could offer.  For an up and comer, what about Luke Tressel?

Just read through the playoff capsules, I will be putting my money on Olivet.  Oh yes, they are 6-4, but they did win their conference.  This will be a similar story to Michigan if they beat Ohio State to get the rose bowl bid.

A Piper coaching a Tommie? I hope not, but he deserves a job on some coaching staff.

I am not a fan of Paul Miller.  I was not impressed with his work at either St. Olaf or Hamline.  My friends tell me that he is fine coach, but is he the right man.  I am not sure that the EP or CDH coaches would find the Tommie job to be a promotion.  The trend in the MIAC seems to be for assistant coaches to move up the ladder, and possibly from the South.  Knowing St. Thomas though, they will probably try to get Mike Tice to take the job.

For MVP I will have to go with Flannery.  He was the best player in the MIAC this year.  I would like to vote for Penz, but he had some tough games.  Flannery always seemed to play his best.

A freshman?  He appears to be the revenge of scrubby41, but no way a freshman gets MVP.

Just got back from the big night at the conference.  Lenny Kravitz - killed it, friggin unbelievable.  Billy Joel - great performance, had to record some for the wife.  Back to Lenny, jeez Louise that guy rocks something fierce.  Skipped Stevie Nicks with Mick Fleetwood, but I'm sure they were great.

Looks like this was the year to be in the IT industry.  Now let's rock Redlands the same and it will be a week to remember.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.
